- Transcendence gives more weapon damage but doesnt pair well with this build since i need to build stacks for euphony which transcendence doesnt give stacks to.

exotic bond has star eater + apotheosis -pop super for apotheosis proc to spam threadling grenades, the threadling grenades help build spindle stacks, max stacks is 25 , transcendence is only worth popping after max stacks in a long damage phase.

Have you tested the difference between this and full strand with Apotheosis? Thread of Evolution puts in a lot of work with a rotation like this, and I’m not sure needlestorm gets the full benefit from Star-Eaters.
TLDR: Prismatic star eater version has higher burst damage, strand with apotheosis and thread of evolution is better for sustained damage phases

it might be worth if the boss is in a better spot , but since he was up 🆙 n a platform i chose not to use it
@@001PSDSeems free in a pure DPS setup as Devour isn’t doing anything for you. Granted you need to make it to damage, but the idea is to stack to 25 as quick as possible.

Wouldnt it better to throw grenade/super/throw grenade/shoot once/throw grenade/shoot/grenade until you reach 25stacks? or does the "sustain dmg" dont work when you throw grenades?

@@uptjay lol? i tested this vs regular strand, arcane needle etc and did 3m compared to 3.6m on this after multple tries each build (consistent numbers on each loadout)

Well its strand surge so you do 25% more damage so its more or less 2.7 million still good for special only though. Star eater nova bomb with edge transit is still better and yeah we all know a hunter on solar surge could have one phased this boss.
yeah waiting for void surge to test, nova does 787k off surge and 1.1m on surge with star eaters. i have the cascade/env roll so curious to see the dmg output whenever void surge rolls around.
It would be much easier if people knew how to subtract Surge% from damage, I dont.

You can't run the exotic class item there so no star eater buff and no apotheosis combo, you can still got good damage on regular strand with apotheosis though
@@TheCopyNinjaRF Yeah that's true, but I can't imagine that star eater outweighs the benefits of strand, but I haven't gotten a star eater roll yet, so guess I'll just wait and test once I get one.

@@TheCopyNinjaRFyea but broodweaver doesn’t get the full 70% buff from star eater. The initial hit is the only thing buffed the threadling explosions don’t receive the buff.

there was 1 lumina shot . it was not applied when shooting the exotic.
If you’re mad that tractor is used, just subtract 30% it’s not that hard. And idk if you’re saying that lumina and tractor are not ”standard buffs/debuffs” but they definitely are

May I suggest explaining while playing. I don't see anything special here. Maybe I am missing something but it just looked like DPS numbers. Nothing that shows us it is a viable opion in endgame.

@@001PSD It may very well be. However, your video doesn't show how this is the case. We have alot of high DPS weapons that suck when used in game. You may want to take a look at your fellow CZcams'rs. Many explain why the aspects and the weapon work well together and then show game play to back it up. Just trying to help.

Prismatic will let you use the star eater class item which would heavily out damage broodweaver, prismatic also has hellion which adds a nice chunk of damage, the biggest advantage pure strand has is thread of evolution for threadling damage and the grenade reload one but threadlings arent the main damage here its euphony so not really needed,
