Some how the arresting officer was cool and since I admitted I was running he only booked me for the suspended license. Got 2 days in city and a $1500 fine.
Wouldn't be a problem in Germany: with the license plate, the police demands the driver name & address form the owner. If he can't or won't, it's on himself!

@Robert also as others have pointed out it looks like the guy isn’t even running. Just cruising away from the cop. He might’ve had earbuds in couldn’t hear the sirens. Most track bikes don’t have mirrors so he probably couldn’t see the cop either.
RidingWithVic i outran a cop on my ninja 250. just get them in the corners that bike is super light. (i owned a 250, R3 raven, and R6...the R6 is much too fast for any cop)

I've got one of the original Miatas with popup headlights and a 116HP (90-95 wheelhp) 1.6l 4cyl engine. I can keep up with bikes generally consistently on tight twisties. I generally can keep up on windy roads, but no chance on anything straight. I've been absolutely left by bikes in an older BMW with more that double the power, but I've never been absolutely left by anything (with two wheels) in the Miata. Unless it was highway or something similar. Never been sure how hard the bikes were going though.
I bet the biker didn't even know the police car was there, remember with the noise of the engine and the wind and wearing a helmet you cant hear much else.

99.99% of bikes, CANNOT corner better than sport cars
depends on the car, but the thing is for 4k you can get a supersport that will out handle and accelerate faster than most cars on the road.
there's one exception. really really tight road.
