Probably the most brutal and spectacular rally car of all time!!! It always seemed to be trailing blue smoke though, I can't decide whether it was from the exhaust, or tyre smoke, even on a loose surface!!! Also, there appears to be steam coming off the front wheels, did it have water cooled brakes?
The blue smoke was from exhaust. Hannu's Audi had some problems that caused the engine to burn oil (problably from turbo) also the brakes had some mechanical problems if I remeber right.

Huh, long time a go 😢 Ruuhimäki and Ouni stage’s if i remember it right. Audi made sound like a jetplane with shot gun shots… what a car, what a driver. Arne Hertz ( co driver) is also a real rally legend ☝🏼
