so what happens to the letters around the spot you removed the vinyl from? The "E" appears to have been peeled as well, is everything around it basically collateral damage? Just wondering since you said to wash it after removing the problem area but didn't address any of the vinyl around it.
It can be a issue and could peel so you need to be very careful when applying it.
So is the washing step what removes the residue? Because this stuff always works rest for me if I’m replacing the same exact thing or something that will cover the entire spot where the previous htv was. But say my design was crooked, or I have to put a completely diff letter in place of it. There always seems to be some residue or a spot where you can tell the previous letter was. Maybe if I apply more of the chemical and rub it off? Haven’t tried that yet!
The residue stayed on in both shirts I tried. Even tried vinegar/dawn liquid soak, then wash. I'm gonna try Goo Gone next.
What about if I want to take the vinyl off a puffer coat at the back of it?Can I apply the solution on the lettering as I can't turn it inside out?
I wouldn't recommend it for a puffer jacket since that material can't be stretched the same as a t-shirt. I am also unsure how that would affect the insulation inside.
Does it work on champion joggers
Yes, this would work to remove heat transfer vinyl from cotton garments like that.
Does this work to remove vinyl from a vinyl chair?
This is meant to remove vinyl from garments. I do not know how well it would work on a vinyl chair.
Can I add new vinly after or wash it?
After you wash it, you should be able to add new vinyl to the garment!
Please help! I need to remove a tiny piece on a “polyester” shirt that my daughter wears for her softball team.
Yes I can get heat to that particular spot without heating up the actual design.
