a brief walk around of my new 2024 ZX10R KRT. Still in the break in period. Been taking it a little easy, doing more heat cycles, but just about ready to change oil before the 600 miles.
At 56 years young, I bought the Honda 22 CBR 1000RR. It’s beyond comfie, light, feels like a 600 and clean lines. And yes, it’s cold in the midwest in December as I live in KC. Great looking bike and enjoy…..
Zx10r is the most easy going 1000cc on the market. For the price the power, looks, handling and new user ride ability makes it the best from the rest. Enjoy the bike already got 8,000 miles on mine.
I've just bought the same bike and sold my Tracer in the UK. Not rode the ZX10 yet (its rained constantly since i got it) so I'm pleased you find it comfy. I'm an "older" biker too. 👍
I was surprised as I had a 21 Yamaha R1 and was a bucket list bike, but I didn't keep it long. So when I rode the ZX10R, I was surprised. Have been out for over an hour each way, and I was fine.
Cool Kawasaki 10R racing motorcycle here, thanks for showing it. 200 hp+ would get me into too much trouble on the streets, so I'm happy with the much more tame, newer Ninja 650 for regular street riding. Enjoy!
No, I traded it in. It was an incredible bike and looked great, but I just wanted something lighter, better handling And in the Summer, that 2.5L engine will cook your legs at stoplights.
Dave, that is just way way too much bike for the street my friend. Have you heard the old expression it's much more fun riding a slow bike fast than a fast bike slow and that's the same with cars that's why I have a 2019 Mazda Miata and it's so much fun because I can drive it hard on the street without breaking the law and losing my driver's license. If you were to stretch the legs of a zx-10R and get into the fun zone you would be breaking the speed limit by a large margin probably double the speed limit. That's the main reason why I plan on getting the Ninja zx4 RR for the street is because it's much more suited for riding on the street where you can utilize its capabilities without either risking your life or going to jail and losing your license. I hope you plan on taking your bike to the track a lot because it's not really suited for the street. Enjoy.
Not the way I ride. Been doing this for over 40 years and still having fun. Nothing beat that acceleration. My other bike is the Supercharged Kawasaki ZH2SE. Both extremely fun.
Good choice on the ZX4RR as I got to ride one at a Kawasaki Demo days. Fun bike and sounds great it to. Can easily exceed the speed limits. I have had slow bikes and they just don't excite me, so I don't ride them. The performance bikes are so good and you don't need to exceed speed limits to have fun. The Zero to 60 is a blast. Same when I had my high HP cars. 750 hp on the street is super fun And never have had a speeding ticket. It's called common sense.
@@notsofastdave9462 well now that you mentioned you got the H2 which is the definition of insanity on two wheels, I can understand why you love the 10R, lots of power in a more Sleek streamlined package and less weight. The zx4 RR will be my first sport bike, I've only ridden dual Sports in the past mostly off road, so I think that'll be enough for me to handle as my first real sporty bike. If I were to get an H2, or 10R, or 6R, I'd either end up losing my license or killing myself, or both.😜
When I was younger, I raced Motocross for 25 years Worked up to Pro Class and I think that is where I got the addiction for power, handling, suspension l, all the things the performance bikes have. You will love the ZX4RR. I thought it was a great bike Have fun and stay safe.
Yeah, you rite. I have been fixated on Kawasaki's Homage to the 1990's Legendary ZX7-R's colour scheme of Green, White & Blue. The traditional Kawasaki colour scheme.
There is a 40th anniversary edition that has an unpainted frame, green wheels with some white and blue. That is just one model available in 2024. There is a KRT edition as well. Also it doesn't take a rocket scientist to read a VIN label. They even print them in English for us dumb folk....
Beautiful bike, I just picked up the 40th anniversary addition and absolutely love it. Wish this cold weather would get out of here. Ride safe.
That 40th anniversary model is awesome. Yes, the cold and wet weather needs to go away. Enjoy your bike!
RSV4 is close in price to this.

Enjoy that Honda. Great bikes
Can't wait for warmer weather.

The sound is out of this world with a decent exhaust system. It’s Honda sound type stuff
Picked up a 2023 krt in October. Best bike ever. Getting it dyno tuned with a slipon exhaust

@notsofastdave9462 looking forward to riding it mate. Weather's so bad here though its bad enough just going out. Flooding everywhere. Nightmare 👍

Beautiful bike 💪🏻
Just FYI, there’s an app you can download that directly connects to this bikes instrument panel and gives you fuel readings and such.
God damn. What a beautiful bike, and while you might be in winter, at least you can ride some days! -
Midwestern Canadian.
Any chance I get. I will be putting the miles in. Love this bike.
Beautiful bike. Makes me want to get another one. Sold mine years ago, but I got the itch again 😂
Absolutely gorgeous, dream bike planning to book. 😍

Does the bike have ABS or KIBS?
If u go with exhaust put the full graves on there
New zx10 owner here. Exhaust shopping now. How does graves compare in added hp?
I suggest Akrapovic and I am enjoying it .
My new kawa njnj z r 10 2024
Do you still have the Rocket 3??
No, I traded it in. It was an incredible bike and looked great, but I just wanted something lighter, better handling
And in the Summer, that 2.5L engine will cook your legs at stoplights.
Cbr triple r: this is slow motorcycle🎉🎉
The BMW is the most comfy hands down.
I like the BMW's. But no dealers anywhere close.

Nice.
Hopefully you'll be able to hold on to your driver's license.😉

They sold you a 2023 Bro.
Wrong, it's a 2024!
Title and VIN # confirms 2024
Just go to Kawasaki's website and 2024 ZX10R KRT.
That’s is a 2024
