    As a Chemical Engineer I just want to shed some light on the complications of space flight to help you understand why it is difficult for any kind of long-range Mission to complete its objective and successfully return from a planet such as Mars. What you need to realize is that the main issue is one of a lack of power and efficiency in the engine design. Think of it as trying to drive a car from the Canadian East coast, say Newfoundland to the west coast, lets say Vancouver and back, without stopping at a gas station. A car could theoretically do that but it would have to be remodelled to carry an enormous amount of fuel. This fuel will have its own weight and the more fuel you carry the heavier the car will become, causing the car to burn more fuel to travel the same distance. Once you scale it up to planetary travel, the engine design makes it cost-prohibitive and incredibly inefficient, which goes against the pragmatic philosophy of ISRO.

  • @user-cv1jb9xv2p
    @user-cv1jb9xv2p Před 3 lety +3

    8:52 Alissa ji in early days when ISRO was being founded in those day funding was very very less. So scientists used to carry the parts on their bicycles, peddle it. Bring it to testing location for tests. AND that's how ISRO was formed.

    ISRO's last big launch was in 2019, when the agency sent it's Chandrayaan-2 mission to the Moon, which is also know as Chandra in Sanskrit, and Yaan translates to flight, hence the name Chandrayaan. The mission consisted of a lander, a rover, and an orbiter. The lander failed to make a soft landing on the surface of the moon and signals were lost, which caused the mission to fail. ISRO says it occurred due to a "software glitch". The whole mission was going smoothly up until the mission control room here on Earth lost all signals moments before the lander was supposed to make a touchdown on the lunar surface, 2.1 kilometres above the surface to be precise.

    Satellites r not meant to be brought back..., Space shuttles come back, which India has already tested for its maiden flight to space with humans(earlier it was with USSR), n also will help in our space station, to be worked on very soon.... Satellites r meant to revolve around a planet, like our moon... So, basically we have sent a satellite to Mars from earth which revolves around the Mars n will be thr for some years to gather data to study the atmosphere of Mars n will also help in communication, when we send next a rover to Mars, very soon... India is the 1st country to find the traces of water on moon n by the way, its said, every 3rd satellite in space is Indian.... Future plans will be venus, near sun - aditya L1 project (along with nasa to study its effects) n many more..... Scientific studies should continue, for the betterment of a nation ever......

    The main purpose of the launcher is to send satellites and other machinery like the Mars rover to capture data which is transmitted to earth for research...It would not make sense to retrieve the launcher or its components because it's of no value once it's in orbit

    ohh Come on guys we all know how every foreigner on CZcams tries to gain views by acting like they adore our Indian culture just to take advantage of our massive internet user audience. You are not doing anything different. All you do is sit in front of the computer reacting to all kind of different Indian language comedies and cinemas videos depending upon which ever would be trending in our country. Easy money right guys ? reacting to videos whose language you don't even understand but still find funny. Stop this it's still not too late. Instead of doing this reaction non sense try and showcase some talent to the audience, if you have any that is. We Indians are not that gullible, most people can see through your act as well. Guys Boycott all these foreign channels making easy money by reacting to videos. If you care so deeply about India move to our country or else just do something useful with your life. My fellow compatriots unfollow these people who are using you people to make their own life prosperous by just laughing in front of the computer.

We have started from the bottom and we will finish at the top , I'm also a student of aero space engineering , and 4-5 of my seniors got the offer from nasa but they didn't go there and joined isro instead 😌 I'm also going to join ISRO , it was my dream to work at NASA when I was small but now it's ISRO
