Hawaiian hunting dog Sky lost 3 weeks in forest reunited with his master JR

Sky is an unaltered 4 year old male 3/4 Queensland Blue Heeler and 1/4 Catahoula. An excellent and experienced all terrain Hawaiian feral pig hunter in East Hawaii.
Three weeks ago he got lost somewhere in the rugged steep ravines along the Hamakua Coast hunting pigs with his master JR and two other dogs.
JR searched the forest for days to no avail and feared the worst.
Miraculously, Sky appeared in the predawn hours in our yard three weeks after he had gone missing-minus his hunting collar. He has lost a frightening amount of weight, just skin and bone, limping. God only knows the ordeal he must have gone through.
I immediately gave Sky some food and texted JR. Our border collie, Jazmin, had passed away of old age in February, and having such beautiful dog on the back porch again - and knowing we had found JR's beloved dog Sky whom he had raised from a puppy-made us cry.
JR rushed over immediately. Seeing Sky and JR reunited was a happy ending I will never forget. I have no doubt Sky will receive the best of care and soon be in top form again - I am hoping someday to have a pup of his!
