Her voice has definitely changed.and I'm talking recent years. After the incident with her ex, she rehabilitated her voice, but now she can't hit certain notes. The mic and sound system were horrible, but her voice sounds extra raspy and strained. She should do songs that are in her new range. Still love and support her
I sincerely love her as a human being. No disrect intended. I just think that unfortunately the damage has been done. Once you lose your voice for whatever reason. There's no going back .I wish her nothing, but peace, happiness, and love.

Y'all have no idea how DEVASTATING this is for a HARDCORE Miki Howard fan, such as myself to listen to. This performance is so CRING worthy on sooooo many levels, it's not even funny. And I'll say this....God forbid it's true...but Miki looks like she's ON SOMETHING foreal! This performance almost reminds me of one of Whitney Houston's last performances when she was on her European tour before she passed away months later. Not trying to be disrespectful - I'm coming from a place of deep concern...
She had a golden voice back in the day! What happened? This is embarrassing to watch. Doesn't she know what she sounds like. Is she kidding herself? Surely, she can hear her tone and pitch? She said on unsung her ex boyfriend beat her and cracked something in her nose so she said now she can do the notes she once did but she's working with her voice coach plus he had her black balled

This is difficult to watch. Not a good performance in comparison to her early work. And the sound man...and I use that term loosely, should not give up his day job.. Unfortunate, really.
I think its sad to say, but like Whitney, Her voice is shot. This is the end results of smoking cigarettes, weed, and doin bad drugs. If Your voice is your instrument and your money maker, You gotta protect with your whole entire life!! And don't nobody love Miki Howard more than I do, but the proof is her voice is shot to hell. The only thing she has to work with her is lower registers. The only way she will ever get half of her high voice back is if she stops smoking and get professional vocal training done.
