- I tried beating Pokemon Scarlet using only Turtwig! Turtwig is obviously the funniest, best Pokémon, even in Scarlet and Violet, but can we conquer Paldea's obstacles, like Nemona and Geeta with just this funny turtle?! You’ll have to watch until the end to find out!

Actually. Infernape can beat everyone with his speed, attack, and type coverage. His only weakness is a lack of physical grass type moves. Though Tera blast and grass Tera take care of that

Gotta love set rng for battles in this game.
Yeah I was not aware that was a thing...
I learned about it early on, the competitive scene was worried the online battles would be set rng and could be manipulated.
No? That was a bug in battle stadium at launch (which was fixed before the teal mask update). The main storys rng is random.

one thing i never understood is the hatred towards bipedal starter evolutions
like, why does it matter so much if it's quadrupedal or bipedal?????
I'm kinda wondering if Geeta has a set rng seed or something
like if you took the same actions, and so did she and the exact same outcome happened each time I'd guess she has a static rng seed
I seem to recall that same issue being a problem in online battles when the game first released so its not a totally unprecedented thing with sc/vi
