TOOL - Fear Inoculum (Bass Cover)

It's been a long while since I've done a TOOL cover... so after seeing them in concert the other night, playing the most amazing gig I've been to... I just had to do this one!
Playing my Spector Forte again, equipped with Aurora white coated 45-105 strings.
Run through my pedalboard, using my Boss Chorus and Digitech Delay pedals in parts, and EHX Bass Soulfood on the whole song for a bit of added grit. I also use my Boss Flanger in stereo mode for one part, for the tremolo effect.

Finally! Someone who plays the volume swells on bass for the intro. Every other cover I've seen comes in when he starts playing the big slap-back riff, but it's obvious from the recording that JC plays a volume swell counter to AJ from the start.

Man, from 9:00 to the end you were driving that bass line home mate! That was a great cover mate.
One question though, you know the bit where MJK sings "deceiver, chased away, a long time, coming" doesn't JC play more? I could swear I could hear additional notes on the recording but maybe they're triggered from the drums? When he sings "chased away" I hear a dum, dum, dee, dum and then on "a long time" it goes off with some ba, ba, ba, baba buh ba, into "coming" bababa bah bah bababa. Anyone else hear this?
