People trapped in a small space together, with no-where to get away from each other, will kill each other. They will go bonkers. And they'll have to start eating each other at some point, but you still starve on a diet of human flesh. It's a scientific fact. You would be better off getting off the train.
I mean, if he was really brilliant, why not make it a double decker train? Make it more spacious. I mean if I am one of those billionaires who funded it I wouldn't survive inside. Too narrow and claustrophobic. Imagine living inside it for years.

Mr Wilford made the train originally for intercontinental tourist travel around the planet, when the Earth began to froze, he suited the train to be the ark for thousands of people, I guess they didn't have enough time to upgrade it or make a new one.

This sounds stupid. If you have enough energy to move a gigantic train, then you have enough energy to keep a stationary building warm. Oh, and there's this thing called geothermal energy. It's just too much dumb.
The train is run by a perpetual motion engine. Its power source is LITERALLY its own movement. And that power source is limited the further you get down the train, one of the Engineers explains it in one episode.
And I'm not sure that they had geothermal power. Layton, after he briefly turned Snowpiercer into a 10 car Pirate Train (fun times!!!), found a survivor in a power plant who had lived by using the heat from the reactor. However, the other survivors there had starved, turned on each other, and succumbed to cancer from the radiation. Season 4 has Snowpiercer up against a group that probably survived from something like that too. We don't know much about them, but their leader is played by the actor who played Phil Coulson.

Yeah season 1 and 2 where amazing and 3 just hit me like train with the bad nasty lighting job and the bad acting. What Happened?It lost all realness.

I think 3rd class does that, yeah. The thing is, Wilford intended for this to be a luxury train for the rich, it only became an ark when the world ended. 1st class is the rich people who paid for the train's creation, they're allowed to live in luxury. 2nd and 3rd class are more of the working class, probably depending on how much they could afford to spend on those tickets. The Tail is the stowaways.

i dont know, but, maybe the snowpiercer is using some kind of fision nuclear reactor, that would explain being able to work for decades, the voyayers are what it comes to my mind.

It originally WAS global warming until the attempt to FIX that led to global freezing. The mad scientist responsible for the end of the world is this show's final bad guy.

They actually can: Snowpiercer has Agriculture Cars. Hydroponics. There's also a Cattle Car... well there WAS before the avalanche. There was an Aquarium Car full of fish until it was destroyed at the end of the second season.
