It was so refreshing to see how genuinely happy DDP was for Jake with his announcement of his HOF induction. Such a great guy. You’re worth your weight In gold Mr Page.
Jake and DDP are so cool man. Jake has this dark sense of humor which I love because that's my humor with a lot of sarcasm. Can't wait for the next episode.
The ressurection of Jake was a HUGE inspiration to me getting off alcohal . I still get inspiration from listening to the good word Jake and DDP spread. 10 years of no alcohal. Thank you guys 🙏 And power to anyone else who is struggling ✊
Luger should be in the hall. 2x wcw champ, once in the prime of the wrestling boom, and was a headliner in the wwf. Same with Sid, but even more so Luger.
I literally look forward to a new episode every time. Like how the two legends say, thanks Conrad for keeping it going and giving these two a voice ❤️ Dude this is awesome work
Dally is such a good dude. He gave us a few extra years of Scott hall and Jake's still kicking. Who knows how much different the world might be without ddp.
When Jake brought up Warrior's apology to him, its hard to watch, because here's a guy that's busted his ass to mend all these bridges, paid his respects, and 3 days later, he's gone, and after watching the WWE Legends episode on Warrior, its heartbreaking. Jim didn't deserve to go, but he was fortunate to go into the HOF and cut one last promo on Raw. Whether or not he knew it would be his last, that he would die the following day, no one will know for sure, but I'm sure he knew he wasn't long for this world. You're a good man Jake for keeping your tongue that day
that speech on raw seemed to me a lot like when Bowie wrote/recorded the album Blackstar. they both knew what was coming, and sought to write their own obituary so to speak.
Congrats to the lady for losing 72lbs. DDP Jake The Snake Roberts thank you for good news and for being positive. Unlike some democonrat from Kentucky. Who never has anything nice to say, unless it's about someone who passed away.
I love what Y’all do, both of Y’all, seen you Jake, years ago, @ Central Gwinnett High School, when I was a teen, and saw DDP, years L8R, @ a bar in Roswell, reading “I think ‘Twas The Night Before Christmas “, I knew then Y’all were more than just GR8 wrestlers 😎
21:45 Many people elsewhere have pointed out that Warrior was NOT the WWF champion at that point in 1991, so Jake could not have lost a title run with him (or "millions" from it). As far as the "money hold up" -- there was FAR more to that story -- NO cash was delivered to Summerslam for Warrior (that's been revealed as a fact), and the Vince/Warrior confrontation happened in Vince's office, which resulted with a 90 day suspension for Warrior -- not a termination. I seriously doubt Vince would flagrantly fire ANYBODY out in a hallway. Hey, I'm a Jake fan, but I'm a Warrior fan too.
Let’s face it. Jake is a story teller through and through. As entertaining as the stories are they must be taken with a major grain of salt. I mean Jake seems to have a lot of people who have done him wrong when in actuality I am quite sure he wasn’t viewed as a reliable guy to work with.
Ivan Koloff ,Tully Blanchard and Arn Anderson are only in the Hall as part of the Four Horsemen not Singles or Tag Team Hall of Famers.... Demolition is not in there....Bill Eadie as Masked Superstar alone Shudve had him in and Barry Darsow had many gimics which have landed him in there...Dynamite Kid....Owen Hart ...Lex Lugar....Sid Vicious and Bam Bam Bigalow all shud be in there🤷💯
Agree on some people not belonging in HOF but when it’s an annual show and you have multiple inductees, the pool of people gets thin fast - they’ve been doing this for 30 years now. As far as Trump goes - if you’re going to have a celebrity wing then what bigger celebrity than Trump? Based on the fact they inducted Pete Rose, Snoop Dogg and Drew Carey, then Trump deserves to be there too - he was part of a lot of programming, he hosted 2 wrestlemanias at Trump plaza among other things.
I've ALWAYS wanted to say this publicly. I don't care if this offends people. Celebrities should NEVER EVER be in the hall of fame EVER. Drew Carry etc those guys did NOTHING to deserve that spot, they were only there to draw in more people to the shows, that's all they're there for. They didn't earn that spot at all. I agree with Jake
@@bkohler89 fair point but some celebrities, particularly early early on were instrumental in helping get wrestlemania off the ground, drawing in new audiences, helping WWE go from a wrestling company to an entertainment company - people like Cyndi Lauper, Mike Tyson, Donald Trump etc. Vince mortgaged his house for wrestlemania - if it wasn’t for The star power of Cyndi Lauper, Mr T and Trump in those early years, the company could’ve folded.

But I’m sympathetic to the true workers like Jake - it cheapens it for them.

I think DDPs induction was more of a recognition of what he did for other wrestlers after his career. He turned around the lives of Jake and Scott Hall where the WWE couldn’t with all the rehab’s etc

He’s so obviously lying. I wonder if DDP has caught onto it too. Warrior hadn’t been champ for 8 months. Jake has become bolder and bolder with this ‘story’ since Warrior died, funnily enough
It’s amazing how many things warrior cleared up just literally days and hours before he died.

I love how DDP looks angry AF at the start of every show.
It seems like he hates being there.
17:25 Dallas saying a quick prayer of thanks for Jake's outcome.
DDP is amazing for the positively he has in people
Conrad: "Queen Sharmells going in.."
Jake: "who..?"
It surprises me how many wrestlers tell stories about Haku/Meng, yet none of them mention him as someone that should be in The Hall of Fame.
