You are Malfurion Stormrage, arch druid of the Night Elves and protector of Kalimdor. A great prophecy has foretold the return of the Burning Legion, who seek to destroy Azeroth once and for all.
For 10,000 years you have roamed the Emerald Dream, awaiting the day for your return to lead your people against the demons. However, you feel that the world has changed much during your absence. Despite Nordrassil being heavily guarded and Illidan the Betrayer sealed deep within his prison, you sense something terribly wrong that threatens your people's survival from the coming invasion.
Your mind is left in doubt, and the Prophecy's fulfillment draws near. Will you make sacrifices to ensure Azeroth's survival from the Burning Legion? Find out as you play Malfurion's Quest, the epic finale in Turnro's series of Warcraft 3 campaigns. - Hry

Unfortunate it is, to see one who was once so honorable and full of life would succumb to the twisted wiles of the Arcane."
Malfurion: "Do not presume to judge me, shapeshifter. You'll find my powers to be more than a match for yours. In fact, I sense that your vaunted power has diminished since last we met..."
Medivh: "Mayhap, oh 'arch sage'. Or maybe I need not flaunt my powers in such an infantile test of will?"
Malfurion: "Foolish guardian! Prepare your defenses! I will come for you soon..."
Illidan: you know what brother I will have back to my revenge and what you did tyrande....

I thought the lesson was obvious....never lead main characters of questionable motives to powerful weapons. It won't end well.

The real question is 'will we end up ever seeing this again'? I mean, it's technically an entire faction-creating it for just one section is a waste.

The choice to have Furion constantly using the calm voice(Where the normal one does sometimes use a fierce or strong voice) makes him all the more disturbing.

i think Loramus is from TBC where he just instructs you to kill some demons near a demon base. I wouldnt be surprised if they re-used him in Legion for some cringey storyline

I don't know but Malfurion is starting to feel very boring now because his mind is only need to be evil and do evil stuff hurr durr. It's kinda exhausting to listen his evil monologues. Is it just me? And to top it off he is very boring from the start. If this was Illidan story it would be very entertaining and nice to see how he goes around to save his world and become powerful. But Furion is a good guy and performs nicely when he is and he becoming bad is so forced here that... Huoh...
Its because the whole idea has been executed poorly. It wouldn't be boring otherwise. It just doesn't make sense how Malfurion turned 180 degrees. And also some of the dialogues really feel unnecessary. I sometimes regret generating so many of those lines.
