Mr.Corby has been one if not my favorite artist of this era ever since hearing him sing his song Brother a few years back.
He in my eyes has mastered the art of singing with passion & from the soul & not to mention doing it very well. He has a voice that is very distinct like the legends Nina Simone, Sam Cooke, Billie Holiday or Bobby Darin.
If he continues down this path he will definitely be amongst the greats in my eyes.

Was listening to the album and wondering where the passion in his singing had gone to...Found it! This is the Matt that reminds me why I love music.
If there was ever a song that could bring about Matt's commercial breakthrough, this is it.

Personally I'd say he's had commercial breakthrough already and didn't want to hold onto it. His song, "Resolution", was used with the AFL grandfinal here in Aus. and it has just under 9 million views on YT. The breadth of genres his musics tends to cross leads me to believe he has found meaning in creating music that he wants to, regardless of how popular it may, or may not, end up being.
Either way, lets hope he never stops :)
