I just avoided going to a rave and taking very bad substances (I have a substance problem). My girlfriend talked me out of it. Falling sleep and listening to this now. Reading peoples’ comments to beatiful tunes. I love doing that, you seem to be genuine, amazing people. Felt like sharing this here.

SAW and Analord give me nice ambient vibes but variants of this style track would be nice. To me it doesn't quite sound like a "typical" Aphex track. Not that there is such a thing as a typical Aphex Twin track.

this is my favourite kind of aphex.
The Drukqs track Orban EQ trx4 was random, unfinished and feels like just that - 1 minute played from “track 4” of something. This is the complete masterpiece. I love Richards straightforward stuff, it gives room to immediately focus on amazing details - effects, volume shifts, sounds etc.

Such a subtle touch. This song is so intimate The ebb and flow of the drum pad's volume, the pitch wheel's delicate manipulation, the reverse synth into sharp drum snap. I've never heard anyone paint such lush atmospheres so effortlessly. These soundcloud songs are like having a conversation with a long lost friend. It's good to hear from you, Richard. We missed you, buddy.

I miss my ex partner a lot. He loves aphex, I'm doing as well as I can right now and living life but I don't want advice from people or people telling me to look up and it gets better. I know everything is going to get better and Im working on it, but I want to live in the sadness when it comes. I get sad, I wish we could be family, and I wonder how we could have developed if the distance wasnt so big. Curiosity eats me and sometimes I really enjoy the way it does. Im not ready for what I had which is why it had to end, and sometimes growing is scary because what if you grow into someone who doesn't love them anymore, or someone they don't love. And thats irrational because you shouldn't stop growing for the sake of others, but I can't lie and say it isn't a genuine fear of mine. It creates hesitation in this much needed journey that I know I need to overcome. I dont want to be uplifted or given a solution, but just want to know people feel what I feel. Sometimes knowing you're not alone is all the uplifting you need.

There's something genuinely magical about this track - very enjoyable.
This has to be one of my favorites from the unreleased stuff. I always really loved his chill vibe ambient stuff the most. I remember being really young and making a mixed tape of the most chill tracks off my older brother's CDs and I would listen to it on long car trips and look at stars out the window.

***** Well mate you must also consider the other factors such that Richard went a very long time without releasing anything new, 13 years i believe. This 13 year cut off gave much of his fans withdrawal, you see we are so used to consuming his frequencies now that we just want more.. Richard could release thousands more tracks and still we would want more for our listening pleasure.Of course we appreciate every track that he gives us, I searched and searched for a zip file the day his account went missing, finally found one with every track. Now that I am all caught up I can get them individually again.. Thos things being said it is important for Rich to reveal more of his sounds, it is significant to him and his fans, I thnk its pretty easy to see that now. In some aspects I agree tho, we do need to appreciate this gift more and its endless implications on the future of our lives. Enough rant for now, suppose (:
