- Today I finished my Minecraft Superflat Survival Megabase after 10 years of playing. We built a giant spider on top of a massive temple. This took an insane amount of time and came out so cool, so I can't wait to hear what you think.

I feel the exact same way! Superflat is so zen to me, and I can't quite place why.

@@robbinvanvliet3738 It's cause it was filmed out of order haha. If you look closely when I build the quartz tower you'll notice the circle foundation of the temple isn't even there yet.

An idea for the inside of teh spider! you should put a cockpit and machinery inside to make it look like it's robotic. I think it'd be so interesting to see you work in that industrial/steampunk style as if the spider were a giant automata!!
10 years of playing Minecraft.. now that’s what you call being passionate about something 👍 it’s amazing how you just kept on doing it I would’ve gotten bored after 10 days xD

Especially with the gradient, this is definitely one of the best looking an impressive builds I've seen in a while! Well done! Congrats on 10 years!
Lots of builders tend to only use the same color blocks when making gradients for things similar to your roof but you went above and beyond, looks so good man
Can I recommend adding a red hour glass to the bottom of the spider's abdomen? It's naturally a very subtle marking on real black widows but because your spider is so big and so high up on your tower, no matter where you look at it from the ground, you will see the warning of the red hourglass. I think it would be a sweet touch and It would also give a pretty cool view of it from the spider temple IMO. I love the build and all the time and work you put into your episodes. Keep up the amazing work but be sure you're always having fun and don't push yourself too far!

Loading up the mushroom farm with mushrooms is like building an iron farm out of iron blocks lol.
I was wondering why you did all the extra work for the andesite and diorite and then I realized this is a superflat world. Holy dumpster 🔥 that's incredible

That's a pretty awesome finishing touch to your base! The giant spider being visible from the entrance to the "spurch" really does add to the lore of the world.

inside the church under the spider should be a massive nest, with huge thick webs, big cocoons, so it looks like shes protecting the eggs.
Love it! Some suggestions would be to make the pillars thicker and maybe blend the pillars and the predominantly wooden base, maybe some flying buttress that go up a quarter?

The inside of the spider really reminds me of cult-like stuff, so you could put candles or other things inside there to add more lore

Hey about your stray issue, here is how to get one, first get powdered snow in your bucket by putting it in your offhand on high altitudes with your elytra, next submerge a normal skeleton in powdered snow and u got a stray
