I followed the instructions to a T and the setup is brutal. If I set my steering rods to the 44.5 mm they request my wheels are pointing in at each other it’s brutal thank you for this

Thanks for a Great video. I have a yd2 that somebody at Vertex put together for me. I am not mechanically inclined, but this video has motivated me to try- on my next new chassis.
For now, though....would you or someone be willing to make a good quality video on how to do the basic tune up and alignment & how to use the set up board. All I really know how to do is check and adjust camber.... Im the only female at the club. I could really use the help. Everyone is so busy with their own cars, I dont like to bother them...but I really want and need to learn.
I've learned all I have with help from others. It's so hard to know how to tune a car without the knowledge. I'll try to get a tuning video up in the future. I consider myself a beginner as well.

Why can't somebody just break it down to you it's simple and also is hard if you don't get help if you're running on carpet lay the shocks down go 250w oil on the shocks and on asphalt 200w stand the shocks.
I run 5mm rear ride height
7mm front for carpet
Asphalt I run 9mm front 7 in the rear👌😎👍 also tires make a difference I use hard compound for carpet and medium too soft for smooth concrete and asphalt,😎 hope this gives you help an estimate of what you need to do

How you get all that droop I've been trying to get it and I can't get it I put my rear rite-hite at 6 the front at 7 I get rear droop but I don't get no front droop can you help me out with that
When you build your shocks- make sure your rebound is strong

It's at the end of the video. Oil is Yokomo 200 weight, stock piston holes, I never measure ride height. Just front higher than rear.

No, the tx speed is not fast enough for drift. Go with a futaba or sanwa mt4
nice video, whats the secret to having so smooth shocks? I have the plastic yokomos and if I lift the car up, the car stays up, tho if I put softer springs or adjust the preload the car bottoms out)=
Shocks should be the first upgrade... the plastic shocks are terrible

It’s hard to describe- I’d find an experienced drifter if possible to help. In general adding toe out increases Ackerman

Can you help me out and tell me how you charge that LiPo battery it doesn't have a balance on the battery
I have a separate battery lead for my charger that has a balance lead
7demo7 are you talking about the one they sell at vertex with the balance connected to it at the other end it has a single black wire what is that for
The single black wire plugs into the battery pack usually between a positive and negative lead
