US here is not too slow, but here are some ideas since you desire feedback. When it comes to potatoes are they Yukon gold or something else? When it comes to potatoes, onions, and mushrooms since most Americans will never go abroad primarily due to poverty, not wanting any derision (the French seem to hate us most of us have no idea why), or if we go on vacation we will be replaced so how about something of universal scale, say a drink can so we can figure out the mass conversion of your recipes. If those are Yukon gold variety only the most upscale groceries will have potatoes that size, if they have any at all of that variety. Russet potatoes quite a few Americans only know. My friends and I have a saying when someone asks how much something is these days, "I paid 15$ for it, but that was pre-COVID is an example. Relevance to you we are tightening our belts, a fast food breakfast, and lunch was the norm for working stiffs. Breakfast has gone from 5$ to 8$ and lunch from 8$ to 13-15. I will not mention rent, utilities, and everything else, so can your fried potato patties be made in advance, frozen, and then put in a toaster oven in the morning? What about your sausage casserole? Does it microwave well? Now I understand, that the rest of the entire world does metric, except the US but we are about 285 million viewers and know only the imperial standard of measurements. See in tightening our belts something like cable services we cut, but the internet has to stay on because of the paperwork we have to do on our own time for work, so youtube cooking shows.
