Only exceptionally talented pupil can improve spoken English in a short period, but a language can not be taught in a short period. Like you are practicing an interesting song you may catch up some common spoken expressions But without real human interactions it is difficult to train a spoken language. If these two fellows are confident this method could be practically applied even by on line. Remember a language can not be fluently practice within a shorter span of time. However, this method is like instant food preparation, and may be good start to popularize among the needy who have dire necessity to speak English.
Actually, these 2 teachers are not suitably qualified English teachers. They usually depend on false advertising.

These two are doing great job! they have talent to teach! They are definitely doing excellent and pave the way for learn english logically. This is not a paid add as says someone i saw the comments. any expert can not do beyond their limit whoever student's responsibility to learn and grab that knowledge. You have to proctice they can not do that on behalf of you. You have to do that. They can show the road. My recomendation is any one who can not understand clearly what is the logic at english this is the place. No bias. That is the truth! Weldone both of u teachers!

Well said. Without good pronunciation one is not perfect. So one cannot forget about pronunciation and move forward. In Sri Lanka our people are lacking correct pronunciation.....First and foremost Andrew and Nelaka got to be perfect in your pronunciation.

Pronunciations have to be improved. It can be a good course but must teach Pronunciation as well. I think this can be good for people who do not know any English. Example....(Is)tudy Or (S)tudy? I have been here (Aus) for 12 years but still, I am not talking fluent English and came from Colombo School as well. But I have general knowledge of Pronunciation because my mother worked as an English Trained teacher and my uncle studied at Cambridge Uni as well.
At 9:16. His "deberting" is enough for me to not join his spoken English class. How do they check the homework and reply to 40K students the next day? To be able to speak a language fluently you need to have a large vocabulary to communicate with someone. How do they do this in 45 days? I can see the standard of English in some of his students by their comments. Here's one howler "I really proud of you sir.break a leg for your bright future sir.before i joined to this course ,my spoken english was so so.but now i think i can talk english fluently.from the bottom of my heart,". Voila! Andrew and Nelaka must be proud of this protégé they have produced in 45 days.
When we learn another language, all skills must be developed: reading, writing, speaking and listening. We cannot simply skip the other areas for all of them are interconnected with each other. You cannot just speak a language without learning how to write it nor read it first and foremost and vice versa. If any and everyone can learn fluent English online in 45 days you don't need to teach English as a subject in schools.
These two are no better than Thilini Priyamali. They are like her- scammers.

I think Sri Lanka education ministry should investigate their background knowledge in English
Sri Lanka education ministry is not bothered in any such measures. We find these type of teaching everywhere due to people's demand especially the present day when everyone or most of the people want to get out of the country due to economic issues.
To tell you the truth, these two have no background knowledge in English. They are fraudsters and are milking the profit off of innocent Sri Lankans who are struggling to learn English.
You two are the best English teachers I've ever seen. Highly recommend this course. You all will be able to speak fluent english after 45 days, but you should dedicate for that.

Hi Chamuditha, One day, cannot tell you exactly when that is, many young Srilankans will thank you for this interview. These two did an interview with Lahiru Mudalige some time ago. I remember many people asked them whether they can do an interview in English. That was a good question. Trust me, Chamuditha is a better speaker beside these two. Utterly hopeless pronunciation of the few words they used. Right now, our youth are in a vulnerable situation. So they are gullible and will cling on to anything , specially the motivational speaker- present. So the Teacher here can teach the motivational speaker some English to begin with. Again, please do not insult India, Do they need these two, to learn English? Come on, guys. Be truthful. Chamuditha, I hope you are not marketing them.
I doubt very much that the English language can be mastered in 45 days.
Youngsters are looking forward to escaping economic issues in the country thus are scapegoats for many such teachers/institutes. On the other hand there's no government mechanism to monitor the standards of such teaching methods. Everyone's making a fast buck out of youngsters' misery. As a country we're slowly moving backwards as opposed to forward largely due to political and financial illiteracy.

The way one pronounces 'throat' (throt) and the other pronouncing 'spoken' (spawken) shows these two shouldn't be teaching English.
