Our class loved watching your wedge video. We especially liked seeing the indent the bolt made in the wood compared to the nail. While we laughed when you ate the ice cream, the students were quick to point out that you shouldn't eat things that are part of a science experiment. We're looking forward to watching more of your great videos! :)

Thank you uncle 😄
Great way to introduce important science comments.
My grade 4 class is wondering if the blocks of wood that you pulled through the rice weigh the same?
This video helped me a lot on one of my assignment
Keep it up!
I would say another thing that is at work is the concentrated force on the small surface of the wedge. Instead, if it was a flat, wide surface, like the hammer, the force would spread trough all the surface that is making contact with the object you're aiming.
Thanks
you just helped me with my hw
even though this is science, I'm more impressed by you chopping skills
Bro thanks like !
Woooooooooow
Awesome
that wedge is like a plow!
Nice video
What was going on with your hammering at 5:10?
I know right
Yeah it looks wrong but from the height of the chair he couldn't hammer it with the head of the hammer safely from a seated position.
I really like the it so i gave you a like .
Thankyou! For more fun science demonstrations, please subscribe to our channel
5:27 haha you're so funny, sir
Jared: eats ice cream
Me: imagines for a moment that jared will eat the carrot next.
My Brain a moment later: you fool

the secret of the word wedge vs. cup, in my book
Great
Cool
Mine too
Hi I am Abraham it is so cool wedges sure help
make more of the videoes again
sup nice video'
Why did you want to split wood in half? You should make your own Rube Goldberg machine(if you know what it is) :)
You forgot to say that the CARROT is also a WEDGE, pushing its way down into the soil.
OMG yes it is
I Giorno Giovanna have learned a simple machine called the wedge by a nice science teacher
Good
I believe you wanted to measure the force in Newtons on the spring scale, not the mass in grams
teachers still showing this 7 yrs later
kg is NOT a force unit. Great videos, great examples. Please use Newtons as the force unit.
Really good demo. But. The basic unit for force is Newton, not grams. Viewers would benefit from learning the right names for quantities and units from the start.
I'm a bit late, but actually a gf or gram-force is an accepted metric unit of force.
Great
T
Nadeira Wimal ya this video is great
