I remember the old guys sitting in the town Cafe complaining about the "west side" over their coffee. They said they were ignored, chastised, and cast as a bunch of ignorant bumpkins by Olympia. My relatives all went to college and returned home to farm, and farming is a difficult business requiring a vast awareness of the science behinr it to be successful. As a kid, I didn't understand their complaints. As an adult, I understand them perfectly.
