"Farinelli part pour Londres en 1734 afin de soutenir son Maître Porpora dans la brillante compagnie rivale de celle de Haendel, The Opera of the Nobility. Le public l’adore, un spectateur s'époumone « One god, one Farinelli! » mais le chanteur vénéré, repart en 1737, la situation de l’Opéra italien à Londres devenant compromise. Avant de quitter la Capitale, Farinelli offre en concert une Cantate de remerciement, intitulée 'Regal Britannia'".
