PLEASE EXCUSE MY AUDIO! In this video and Sundays video! I didn’t have something plugged in right so it sounds horribly echoey and reverby!!!! All fixed and audio should be better next week!
its alright james. its giving 2010 youtube I love it😂😂
Oh, thank god. I was about to make an appointment to get my hearing checked! 😂
Wait til they hear tapeworms exist. They’ll make that the next diet fad
Love your soft, calming voice. It all sounds fine to me! :) TFS James
The new set up is so much higher quality! Idk if you got a new camera, or new lights, or both, but wow the new set up and background just looks so much more clear👍👍
What we need is a pair of identical twins, one of whom tapes his face and one who doesn't, who will then report back to us with an update in about 30 years.
There are older people who have used frownies, they have been around for decades. Ultimately I think tape doesn’t do much because if it did people wouldn’t be paying so much for Botox and other products.
@@ripwednesdayadams I suppose it could be that it works temporarily, so it's like the difference between shaving every few days, or getting laser.
I think the real answer is are you gonna live your life as the kind of person who tapes your face in desperate fear of expressing yourself. It’s almost as sad as the girl who trained her face muscles to stop working.
Well James is an identical twin!
@@danila5631 yes quite! 😉
I tried the face tapping, quickly realized I couldn't use any moisturizing or nourishing skincare because then the tape wont adhere, and realized nourishing and "plumping" my dry skin with good products is more beneficial than "preventing facial movement" with tape.
Exactly
Yup. I figured that out too
Lol
I think that depends ON your skin. IT works for me. But i do my skin care made 2 hours before frownies
@@stinehansen191 sure it does
With sensible and oily skin it was a big no from the start for me. My face wrinkles only during sleep and it pisses me off so much, but I'm planning for botox, that'll teach my stupid face to stay still😂
The reason that soap is drying is because it's a true soap (made with lye), not a detergent, so it has a really high PH, which is irritating to the skin.
Right, and the oils in soap get saponified, so they’re really not acting like oils anymore
the new background slays
Thank youuuu!
Vaporwave mall vibes🗿
i love it, but i miss mimikyu being in the background🥲🥲
So 80s 😄
It’s gorgeous isn’t it! Makes me feel like I’m in a really modern Spa! ❤
His face when she whipped out the olive oil LOL
I’m 35. I recently decided to come to terms that gravity and aging is going to do it’s thing no matter what I do, so there’s no need for me to obsess over it (which I did for a bit as soon as I hit 30, and I mean totally obsessed lol).
I’ll always use my sunscreen, retinol, moisturizers, etc. and I won’t act as if I don’t feel extremely happy with joy inside when someone initially assumes I’m 5-8yrs younger. However, I quit freaking out over my lines. I decided against getting fillers. My face isn’t as round and plump as it was in my 20s .. and that’s cool lol.
A lot of it was the internet. I found flaws in myself I wouldn’t have normally seen until hearing and seeing someone else on social media talk about theirs. I quit using TikTok and IG, and honestly… I feel I’ve got more confidence. My skin is maturing and I like her new look lol.
See I'm on the fence. I'm 36 and everyone I meet says I'm 28, they think my husband is older when he's 4 years younger (he hates that lol, that's how I got him into skincare) Lol. I do notice personally my face does look different to my 20s obvi, but mostly the bucal area is droopy and my top lip isn't as full. Which is probably only something I'm noticing I'm aware...but It's weird I have those 2 areas continue to bother me. Plus I had I had glandular cancer as a kid (and cancer again in my late 20s) so I only sweat from my head, it's super embarrassing and it ruins my make up and hair. I was thinking of getting botox in my forehead over my head to the back of my neck to stop the sweating and maybe a very small amount of filler in my top lip. I'm not scared of needles I just scared of messing up my face lol. All that rambling to say I'm curious what you think of your results? I'm scared I'll look older once the botox fades. I mean I'm Asian so I won't look old until 1 day I'll wake up and look like an old grandma xD but I don't wanna rush the process
I am 25 and i am over the people freaking over grey hair. I love my Grey's, makes me look somehow mature and people take me seriously now idk how to explain this. Also, gives my hair some ✨ character ✨ cause i have straight fine silky hair. There's literally no need to panic over aging, just like we came from kids to teens growing all our assets, this one's another change of cycle and it's beautiful & natural.
Ah that joy when people think you're much younger xD I'm 36 and I still have to ID myself sometimes when I buy alcohol. The giggle you feel inside is great haha. I also vow to never get botox/fillers, let's age our own way gracefully.
I’m 41 and right there with you 🫶🏽
Aging is a BEAUTIFUL process. Those lines are evidence of the amazing life you have lived, how far you’ve come, the miracle you are and continue to be 😊you, my love are GORGEOUS- I know this without seeing you because of your words of acceptance.
In my opinion- those who accept the process of aging gracefully look 10 years younger than those who try to hide it with (keyword: EXCESSIVE) fillers/Botox/etc. 😉
Your skin is an incredible organ (and your largest!) and you’re doing an amazing job in thanking it/taking care of it❤
My grandma always says “tape only goes so far, god gave you your face, it’s gonna age based on how you take care of yourself and how much you smile.”
Michelle of Lab Muffin recently explained why it's a myth that hyaluronic acid will dry out your skin in a dry atmosphere (something like it's not a strong "magnet" for water, it just holds onto water molecules when they bump into each other). I'm guessing a similar principle applies to glycerin.
I love how you say perfection doesn’t exist. Makes me feel comfortable with my skin and realize I can try my best with my skin but it’ll never be perfect and I can’t compare my skin to others. We’re all different.
Perfection is a myth. Even the most perfect thing has imperfections. Skin has textures, lines, spots etc. That's literally what skin is supposed to be.
It's really a nice reminder. I even say it to myself when I feel bad about my skin on some days and it helps. 😊
Re: Glycerin, post-shower, while your body is still a little wet, mix a little with your body lotion before you apply. Not too much or it will feel sticky, but a few drops per "handful" of lotion can make a huge difference on the décolletage area.
I also use makeup remover/cleanser with glycerin in the shower so it's already a nice and damp situation. 10/10
Thank you!!
This is so helpful because even with the thickest lotions my body is still dry af
Thank you!
I also make a humectant gel of aloe, water, & glycerin to layer in between some skincare steps. My skin is very dehydrated & loses moisture quickly if I am.not vigilant lol. I have found with products, for me, glycerin, jojoba, & Shea butter are the hero ingredients. I do think with very safe products like aloe & glycerin & base oils, one can certainly save oodles of money and can create highly custom extras for the routine. I definitely use store bought moisturizing lotions, there's no way I can get products like urea, another one of my heroes, & create anything as good as my beloved gold bond facial lotions, but a simple humectant essence/toner? Yeah I think my $.50 DIY is absolutely better than made up skincare nonsense. I do wish James wasn't nearly so insufferable about DIY...
Thank you James for pointing out that these people using this stuff are all young and don’t even have a problem with wrinkles, it’s just ridiculous what these companies and influencers want us to believe 🤷♀️
It’s true. I watched this video with Justine Bateman and she was saying that a lot of young women are panicking about aging because we don’t want to “feel” like a lot of women who are aging seem to feel. And having surgery and fillers and stuff can look good but mostly it doesn’t look natural. Anyway, when I look at that women with the tape on her face and seeing how young she is and how afraid she is to get lines on her face sort of reinforces what she is saying. I don’t want to be like that. It’s an inside job and I know that, but when I go on social media and I see stuff like this, it gives me anxiety. There’s gotta be a better way to age. I wish there more older women on social media combating this stuff and showing a better way to deal with this stuff. In the meantime I just stay off of a lot of social media but even still you cannot avoid it. It’s everywhere.
the thing with that chinstrap is like- if it worked wouldn't it also be pulling the ears into a more prominent position? you'd be exchanging a tighter chin for ears that stick out
Your react videos are my favorite, I'm not super into skincare but I like listening to people talk about stuff they know more about than I do, especially when they're correcting misinformation in a fun and entertaining way :)
Aw thanks!! 💜
@@JamesWelsh you're welcome, thanks for the lovely content! 💜
I totally agree!
As someone who’s used a lot of medical tape🙋🏻♀️
Can definitely (!!) itch and be irritable even if it’s for sensitive skin - also, the sensitive skin ones are less sticky and falls off easier. Like within hours.
Tape dries out your skin! Especially if you wear it a lot. In my case, I had to use it on long scars and for long periods of time (was supposed to be 24/7 the first few weeks) but even when I was using less and only overnight, my skin was itchy and dry, and you get those pale marks after a while - you know, the ones you get when you wear a band aid - and the more often you tape, the longer the marks stays.
(I’ll add the disclaimer that I was using it on my body, and the skin there is different than the face, and I weren’t the best when it came to moisturizing tho)
Also, it’s expensive (at least where I live)
Yessssss. When I was a teenager, I had a splint on my finger for months after trapping my finger in a door. And the irritation from the medical tape was the worst part about the whole ordeal 😂
I'm wondering as well: how are you supposed to use skincare overnight when tape only adheres to dry skin?
Literally this! I remember having a heart monitor on as a teen [genetic testing,] and those sticky circles left my ribcage with red itchy, perfectly round patches that eventually turned paler than my skin tone, and luckily, vanished within 5yrs. We for real need to make a new medical adhesive.
@@robynalice879 holy crap!! 5 years?! I know the irritation you're speaking of, 5 years of lasting damage is horrible!
My thoughts exactly! I'm very sensitive to medical tape and my mom is even worse! It will actually like tear our skin and break it open! Not in my face lol!
BTW - still loving your tag line, "progression over perfection." Please don't change it for a long while.
i despise tiktok but love to see you and Robert review these "hacks"
12:09 she’s so worried because she sometimes wakes up with one line because of sleep? That happens to everyone, doesn’t mean you’ll have wrinkles if you stop taping your face. We don’t have to combat every thing that shows we’re older than 14 😂
And everyone has a bit uneven eyebrows, everyone. It’s ok to be imperfect, that’s what makes up perfect
I feel so annoyed when I see ads on Facebook and instagram and TikTok that literally use a heavy blur filter to make people think skin texture and fine lines will disappear when people use their product. It’s so dishonest and I worry about people who for whatever reason can’t tell it’s a filter.
Omg that diy makeup remover is actually how I used to wash my makeup brushes🙈😂 And I don't recommend it because the olive oil doesn't fully wash out so I had to fully rewash my brushes afterwards. Which also means don't use it on your face either!!!
It's pretty counterproductive to mix oil and soap directly as soap molecules just bind with oil and water, so you just made everything less effective.
Better to cleanse with just soap and water, or if you have stubborn stuff on your brushes first oil then soap and water.
@@mariedohet1286 Well yes obviously lol. This was something I did back when I was really young and almost never washed them😆 I will say it got the makeup out really well, but now I just use makeup brush cleaner or dish soap
My skin absolutely hates HA and I wish they'd chill on using it so damn much. I can do one product with it and be ok, but when it's in the cleanser, the moisturizer, the toner, the serum and the sunscreen it makes my face dry to cracking when I'm actually very oily. WHY DOES IT NEED TO BE IN EVERYTHING?!?!?! Will definitely be looking into finding more products with glycerin instead.
Same here! I have the same issue with niacinimide.
I'm the same way with retinol. It's so hard finding an eye cream without retinol right now and it drives me insane. Like I just want a moisturizer that will lay on my eye skin well
I just have to say, something I love about you (and you share this with Robert) is that you are never mean in these reaction videos. It's not just that you don't openly insult people (which, of course, is a low bar but it's one that plenty of people online can't seem to clear) it's that your focus is always on the information. You're reacting to the skincare hack itself, not the person who made the TikTok. The whole vibe is "let's discuss and learn" not "let's make fun of people who believe these things." Your purpose sets the tone not only for the video but for the comment section/community as well. It makes the space feel safer and kinder and I appreciate you for that.
I'm 35 years old and I don't have wrinkles or fine lines. If people ask me, I say: sun protection, hidration, botox and retinol. There is no hack or tape with the same effect. But even with all of this, we can't run away from aging. It will happen, soon or later.
I think face taping is at best a temporary thing. You will wake up with slightly less puffiness and with less apparent fine lines, but that's about it. Your face is elastic and will eventually relax back into it's natural state. So maybe if you had an event coming up and you were super paranoid about your smile lines or whatever and didn't mind sleeping uncomfortably you could do it, but it isn't going to actually do anything for "anti aging", just masking the signs for a few hours at most.
I picked up James and his bro from Waterloo! Was great to chat to them and wish I asked more questions! 😁 also so generous! 🙂
I love saying "progress over perfection because perfection doesn't exist" with you
Same! 😄
Me too!
Also the olive oil doesn't mix with the water in the makeup remover mixture so it won't be evenly dispersed on the cotton pads
Medical tape every day is going to damage the skin a lot, even the micropore (the softest one) type. I learned it the hard way, after some time that I used to tape pads on my eyelids every night because of exophtalmos. I had to come up with more creative ways to keep my lids shut at night because the irritation of my skin while using the tape was horrible.
Society has beceome so obsessed with looking young, it's insane. Who said fine lines and wrinkles are ugly? My aunt is in her 50s, has never done any procedures on her face and has sopped dyeing her hair when she turned 40 and started noticing her hair turning grey. Now she has a full head of grey hair, normal ageing lines and she's the most beautiful woman i've ever seen. We should appreciate our ageing skin. Smile lines shouldn't be hidden but worn proudly, same as scars. They're all a document to our lives.
Age is rot.
Thank you for the shoutout! Great video as always ❤️❤️
I second jojoba oil.
It's great for hydrating your fingernails (which is something I recently found out you should do), great for taking off makeup, and I personally find it really soothing when I have patches of dry scaley skin on my face (alternating it with a serum).
I'm allergic to tape and idk that honestly made the whole segment just kinda hilarious to me
Yep! I have super dry skin and tried using olive oil or other of those types of oils for cleansing and got HUGE cystic acne that would not go away for months. I had to go get them injected. And I am not prone to breakouts at all. I just use miscellar water and reuse-able cotton rounds. No need to make your own “wipes”.
Honestly as a 37 yo woman, what bother me the most isn't fine lines. I can live with that. The worst is saggy skin. When the skin of your face starts to be more saggy and overall less plump, it's the real deal. You will always look older with saggy skin than with wrinkles. I try to do face yoga and qi-gong as well as taking collagen pills to help.
Yep! I'm 45 and I barely have a wrinkle. BUT the dang jowels I'm getting from saggy skin! People still think I'm younger than I am but still I hate it.
There are skin tighting laser. Hmm morpheus 8 is suppose to be the best. Or Just a facelift
@@stinehansen191 I'm definitely too broke to afford cosmetic procedures. I'd do a face list if I was able to. But I'm not lol
Still very much into these react videos! I don’t use tiktok so these types of videos are the ways I keep up with the drama and silliness
No saaame lol!
This is how I 'watch' TikTok as well. At least James gets a boost in the Algo and gets his coins.
Taping actually works for expression lines, I have 11's between my brows and if I have somewhere to go that I would like to look nice for I tape between my brows and it temporarily flattens them. Highly recommend for these specific types of lines.
The Ordinary's Hyaluronic Acid is $10 CAD for me, still lasts a good bit though & the 60ml is $18 CAD. Loving the new background by the way!🤩
I love all your videos but your reaction videos have a special place in my heart. They are funny but at the same time educational, perfect combo. ❤
Thank you for keeping it real and letting everyone know there really is no replacement for botox. Sorry for all the people who want to stay "natural" but there just isn't anything that comes close to the power of the neuromodulator.
Tbh I don't think most of these makeup "nerds" know that 90% of the components of skin products can't actually penetrate the derma. Like, hyaluronic acid has different molecular weights, only the small ones and some derivatives can actually penetrate skin, collagene can't penetrate skin, glycerin, aminoacids and some peptides can be absorbed but up to a certain quantity etc...
Skincare is certainly useful, but Botox simply blocks movement, so that the skin doesn't crease in the first place, works perfectly and is not permanent, it's perfect as an anti-age. No need to pretend you have a PHD in chemistry in your bathroom lol
@@DeadKraken What are the long term impacts of botox? Can it make muscles work less over time?
People, remember when Renee Zellweger got herself some botox or whatever it was, and her lines and wrinkles disappeard, and she didn't look like herself? Yeah. Those lines on our faces make us "us", real people, erasing them completely would create a weird, artificial look. If your wrinkles and lines bother you go ahead, there's nothing wrong with filler or botox per se, but remember that you do need them, at least a bit of them, to look like a real person. Even babies have lines on their faces. So chill a bit, really it's fine, probably nobody noticed the "huge" wrinkle you're obsessing about.
James, I was having A DAY. Everything seemed to suck. THIS was where I came for content that would lift my mood, and you never disappoint! I just want you to know that in addition to all the information and education and entertainment you put in the world, you also make it a kinder and more joyous place. I know you make a hell of a difference in the "skinfluencer" space -- but you also make a difference in the amount of goodness put out into the world. Thanks for the beauty and joy -- really needed them today!
So face taping or a product like frownies do the same thing as botox by stopping your muscles from moving.... but only while you're wearing them. So unless you're going to tape your face and then go out for the day the effect is very temporary once removed
Very temporary, yeah, like one day. Just like any skincare, we're not out here complaining how temporary moisturiser is. “Ugh you have to use it every night? but I want instant permanent results :(“. Of course nothing is going to work if you go in with impossible expectations.
Hi hi esthetician and a dermal clinician in the Netherlands over here. De last treatment is probably a lpg device. Its basically a device that gives a deep tissue massage. Its really good and also great for people who need lymphatic drainage, but that short clip is not realistic. It also has not a long lasting effect. You need to do it more times. I prefer micro-needling treatments or chemical peels if you don’t want to do lasers.
These are some of my favourite kind of videos! Keep going, you’re doing amazing!
I love your real take on these "fixes"... it is so refreshing to hear someone speak real about this type of thing
My skin does not like hyaluronic acid at all (and the Ordinary hyaluronic acid serum is $15AUD for 30mls here). I do use glycerine mixed with rose water, which I prepare myself, and I find it works well for me (of course that doesn't mean I recommend it for everyone, or that everyone should just go out and start doing diy skincare just because one person on a CZcams comment section has had a positive experience). I know some people find glycerine toners/lotions feel a bit too sticky on their skin, and I've personally found it helpful for my skin to be slightly damp when I apply my glycerin based toner because for me it does seem to reduce that sticky feeling that may occur.
As for the diy face cleaning pads, that would be a hard no from me. It's not much point, in my opinion at least, to take the time to care for your skin only to then turn around and potentially be wiping dirt and bacteria back onto your face. I use cleansing cloths that are double sided, a super soft side and a side that is slightly textured for gentle exfoliation. I have several of them and once I've used one it goes straight into the wash and I grab a fresh cloth for the next cleanse. Helps reduce waste whilst not risking bacterial growth and transference.
The whole tape your face up to keep yourself looking youthful is also rather amusing to me, especially as someone who is also interested in historical beauty regimes. There are instructions on in late Victorian and Edwardian beauty guides on how to do facial massage to prevent skin sagging, which basically involves attempting to push the skin of your face upwards in the hope that you'll somehow be able to fight gravity. Needless to say that's not how the underlying musculature of the face works, and attempting to defy gravity by taping yourself up or attempting to massage your face against gravity doesn't really do a lot. Having said that as part of my night time routine I do finish off with a gentle facial massage, but that's just more of a nice relaxation thing for me.
One of these days I might get over my camera shyness and actually document my skincare routine just out of interest. Or maybe not, I don't know, we'll see. :)
Loving the new background! I’d love a highlight list in the description of what the products are 😁
Oooh, James! This new set up looks awesome!
I honestly still really enjoy the reaction videos 🖤 I appreciate the debunking!
I love your react videos, they’re informative and I love how you go the extra step in research so that we can better understand these products and trends.
I enjoy your tiktok reviews! They are fun. Also I like the new setup it looks good!
I love love LOVE the reaction videos. Please keep doing them
I do love watching these reactions, I always learn new things and they're entertaining
Genuinely appreciate these types of videos 🙏 when I’m insecure about something videos like these occupy my mind rent free and make me hyper fixate on flaws I don’t have. Thank you 💕
I'll never be over these videos! Your videos have been so educational for me personally, but in a more important sense has made made me turn down/question/reject ideas that I'm supposed to make (like a DIY face scrub for a beauty brand, etc) that would be wrong to put out and make me feel icky for contributing to misinformation. I currently work for an agency where I mainly make vertical video/tiktok content for brands and it's really informed how I work. There were so many times where a brand wanted to hop on a big trend like one of these hacks, and too often we're left to just make up the concept ourselves. Basically just wanted to say how even if they seem small, in the grand scheme of things when these videos reach the right people they can make a huge impact on the future of product advertising in the TT sphere! love your work, love your purpose, etc.
I don’t understand how face taping would work, how are the muscles of the face going to change shape because we put tape on our skin? it’s at most a temporary solution or a placebo, I’m actually wondering if all the taping and pushing and pulling of skin could cause more harm and wrinkles actually
Which, wrinkles are fine and absolutely normal anyway, nothing wrong with your face showing that you’re living your life
It doesn’t work, ppl will believe anything lol
@@feelthejoy yes it does. Not for face muscle changing but for wrinkle prevention. It stops you from making expressions that would deepen the lines
@@froyokid only for 5-8 hours per day. and more importantly, your face moves way more during the 16-19 hours a day that you’re awake than when you sleep.
not related to the actual video content but i gotta comment and say that you are looking great in this video! you look so healthy like you are just glowing and your hair looks so good and your smile is absolutely contagious
I could only tolerate to watch the first 5-6 minutes. Glad I'm not on TikTok 🤣🤣 I just CANNOT.
All of these “wrinkle removing” methods and products just rely on inflammation of the skin from irritation. Purposefully keeping your skin constantly inflamed can’t be good for you longterm… also I was cracking up at your comment about foraging tape from the tape plant 😂
Love these videos! Helping the world one vid at a time x
Needed this today 🙌
I definitely enjoy this format :D
Loving the 80's 90's mall-esque display background
I love your react videos. I see so many skincare and makeup videos on TikTok. So I watch both you and your brothers react videos to help separate the bs.
Wow! The new background is amazing 😍
nooo i love ur tiktok reaction vids theyre my fav
The Ordinary hyaluronic is $8.90 USD here at Ulta
The Ordinary- I last purchased a bottle for 13 dollars in the US. But it lasts me almost a year. I am nearly 56 and I normally run a bit oily but as I've gotten older my skin has normalized. I only need a half a dropperful morning and night. I love The Ordinary Hyaluronic acid.
Fece taping. Awesome.
Love your background!! ❤
I don't know about everyone else but tick tock reactions are still my fav ! 😂
i really enjoy your tiktok vids!! my favorite vids of yours are ones where you try tiktok viral products actually heh heh
I really like these, please keep doing :) !!
I am loving your background!!! :)
I don't know if people still like these videos, but I do and I think they are important PSA's to counteract the madness of TikTok inaccuracies!
The girl with the tape: the video isn't convincing. She didn't even show the before. She could say that her nose or eyebrows did anything and then claim the tape did wonders without showing the reality of her before
Omg I love your new logo and filming set
WE ARE INTO THEM!!!!! Love you!!! 🖤💜🖤💜🖤
Love your react videos!
I have to say, the chapter titled "*fece* taping" caused me an unexplainable feeling of shock and horror as well as a "what in Dracula's castle people will put on their faces to go viral" reaction😅😅😅 (I know, I know, the typos!)
Considering bird poop facials were credited as a 'geisha's beauty secret' for a very long time, I'm not surprised TikTok will try to make their spin on it.
Tagged you and Robert in a video on TikTok - it’s a goodie 🤦🏼♀️🤣 - love you both and your content 🥰
I have tried the tape method for the verticle line between my eyebrows I refer to as my "grouchy mark" & it really did help because it made me aware of when I was making the face that caused that crease but I don't think it would permanently fix it.
I've used an old 100% cotton sweatshirt cut into squares to replace cotton pads. I like sweatshirt material better than terrycloth because the nap is softer. Throw used pads into a mesh bag and put in the washing machine. You can get dozens of pads out of one shirt. Dave has been using the same set for over a year, and we'll just replace them when they don't work any more. The only caveat is to use a white shirt OR to test a swatch with the product you use to make sure the color doesn't bleed and transfer onto your skin. The dyes used in the shirt could also be a health/safety issue, so white is probably best.
Love the girl with tape when she says "If you have aging skin!" Umm dont we all have that 😆
Umm hello, new background! Looking niiiice, loving it! These reaction videos are my fave, just keep them coming. 🤩
I've been noticing face taping being "new trend" amongst people in their fourties, and I kinda like the idea of it, but let's be real, nothing beats the good old Botox. I'm over 35 myself and loving my retinols, but a little Botox wouldn't hurt... (Like !iterally, I've had B for my bruxism and it feels like nothing.)
I like these videos!!
Ohhh make more videos like this!!!
I could listen to you talk all day long ❤
Very good info👍🏼
I had a lump removed on my forehead by a plastic surgeon, and after the stitches were removed he advised me to put micropore tape on the site to prevent any movement over night. It kind of worked to keep that particular spot of skin from wrinkling in my sleep, however this was only to be done for like a month after the procedure and not long term. I believe face taping could potentially help with reducing wrinkles by reducing the movement of skin, however most surgical tapes are not made to be gentle enough for the face. I play sport and have to have my ankles taped to support them, and my skin after a while gets really dry and itchy with the constant use and removal of tape. So overall I think it’s more worthwhile long term to just get botox or another form of procedure done to prevent/reduce wrinkles, rather than risking the side effects of using harsh tapes on facial skin
I love how grounded you are!
Glycerin is already in the majority of moisturisers. What's the point of adding more, that would actually make formula worse and if there are some more active ingredients, those simply won't work the way they are supposed to.
The closest I’ve found (in my 50 years) to a “miracle in a bottle” is an Indy brand on Etsy. There’s quite a few impressive products on there that are completely overlooked bc they aren’t $100 sitting on a Sephora shelf.
What's the brand?
You are so right about retinol and sunscreens. I just turned 40 and had been so lazy with sunscreen most of my life until just like the last 5 years. I wish I would have been more diligent with it in my twenties. but I've about 6 months ago started using retinol Tretinoin and do far am seeing a huge difference in the forehead lines and the fine lines around my eyes
Yes! Mentioned that the other day. Love the new background! Do you have a new studio?? Was also wondering about the intro logo. What a really cool JW. I know you have a background in design, did you create it?? You should autograph everything with it 😄!!
i expressively gasped and THEN died with reusable wipes one as a person majored in microbiology
0:29 I love the react videos from you and your brother lol
Anyway as far as the serum mentioned in the first one I got one at the dollar tree!!!
I never heard the thing about hyaluronic acid but from my experience living in a place with extremely dry winters, hyaluronic acid just doesn't seem to cut it at night in winter. I usually need to go for a heavier cream with glycerin in it. I only use hyaluronic acid during the day.
hi james!
have you heard of or use the axis-y dark spot correcting serum?! love your videos🥹💓
Love the react vids!!
