Marriage between 63 years man, and 12 years old girl is a offence in criminal law. Strict Liability offences Actus reus only required if have reus. Absence valid defence -- criminal liability. Court have to give decision. 63 years old man liable to prison.

Traditions or culture or whatever you want to call it. All I hear is excuses for marrying a 12-year-old. A child is a child and a 12 year old should not be forced to marry a grown man. This is sick

CHILDREN'S ACT, 1998 (Act 560)
Section 14: Right to refuse betrothal and marriage
(1) No person shall force a child (a) to be betrothed; (b) to be the subject of a dowry transaction; or (c) to be married.
(2) The minimum age of marriage of whatever kind shall be eighteen years.

However they want to justify this, will not erase the fact that, they're allowing a 63 year old man to get married to a kid who is good enough to be his Great Grand-Daughter.
