Never seen Jay feed as much you'd love this Andy boshing that slop in by the bucket full. I'm a bit of a paste head brilliant method have to use a fiber paste fishing off the bottom make my own now I've sussed a brilliant mixture just doesn't drop off brilliant for margin's too ooosh ! Love paste fishing
I do it every week best method went on Sunday on my birthday and gave half of my paste away because people kept asking why I was catching so much hooked a 17lb carp last 30 mins witch gave me the run around although I mix mine with garlic oil as I use it on the river for barble and they go mad for it well done fir Shaw how good this is Jamie

Superb episode as per usual - hysterical seeing Andy getting frustrated over teeny bits of paste not going on the hook. Doing this in a match would be awesome.
Can't beat it absolutely brilliant big hooks strong lines and buoyancy aid floats all Jay's finesse out the window. Thought Andy was going to Jump in proper hyper used this at White Acres to catch carp in a match the bloke's either side of me thought I'd gone nuts won my section so much fun when it works but so bloody frustrating if you start missing bites. Get on the paste Andrew.🤣

I remember using paste shallow down the edges in evening matches back in circa 1998 and doing really well, got bored with match carps so went speci fishing.
I can't get on with paste fishing now (except on the conker method).
Have tried your mugging tips… amazing fun ! Will give this a go… but for carp 🤞.. great vid guys xx
great vid jamie ,but i noticed when talking through the rig set up ,you never mentioned how long the lash should be and where to position back shots .

Have you tried the paste the speci carp anglers use? Made with eggs, effectively unboiled boilies mix?

I won a match Sunday using slop, banded pellet over shot rig, I was 1 a bung speed fishing I can’t be bothered fishing paste on the hook as missed bites get annoying and wastes time.
My ex father in law taught me this method 15 years ago. He got his swim down to 3 seconds from putting in and i got mine down to about 10 at my first attempt. The fella's either side moaned all day that they picked the wrong pegs and we must be sat on a shed full!

There are a few people on Facebook who will make them to order, but never used any to recommend. Or check out your local tackle shop.

Question Jamie. Why not bait hook, hold above fishing spot then feed and drop hook in water. Surely you would get more hooked fish. (I am trying your method on Friday). Cheers
Try it and see but sometimes it can be too chaotic so having the gap prevents foul hooking etc.
