Same. The 4GB model of the 3rd gen was the first iPod I ever used
I just hate how small it is bet so many people lost them after a month I think the gen 2 has best but it should have 4 GB heck all iPod shuffle models should be 4gb
My first iPod was a second-generation shuffle back when I was like 11, and then afterwards I rode my iPod Touch into the smartphone era, I had like 2 or 3 of them, they were great
Im still rocking my 1GB Ipod Shuffle 2nd Gen. I love it. But they should bump it up to like 4GB or higher. That would be sweet!
Seriously, iPod Shuffle was perhaps ny favorite type of iPod.

I have iPod 4th gen2 gb..
I remember using the iPod 1st shuffle, I really enjoyed it's simplicity, and the idea that I had a good music library back in middle school.
sadly the USB connector broke off, and the battery is completely dead. I really miss it a lot.

the 3rd gen iPod shuffle is a bit confusing but not as bad as some people think.
It's great as long as the ear buds don't break or if you don't want to use better quality earphones or patch it into an amplified system. A 3rd gen iPod with onboard controls would be ideal.
i hate apple products, but bought 3rd gen ipod for funny price of like 10$. The software to transfer music was terrible, but this small, cute, featherweight mp3 player got special place in my heart. Again, apple had to fuck it up somehow, so after 2-3 years if your earphones failed you couldnt buy any other with working remote. Tried like 5 and gave up. I spent more money on different apples earphones than on ipod. No thanks.

The third gen iPod shuffle was one of the best to me, I miss having a shuffle. iPod shuffle is simplistic and minimalist.
You can get a new one off eBay for $20.

Yup 1st gen shuffle is the coolest vintage iPod next to the 4th/5th gen Classic iPod :)
I have always liked the original shuffle because of the size of it. I have never owned a shuffle before but I do have a 160gb iPod classic.

I had the 2nd gen shuffle, helped me through start of high school then the 2nd gen nano helped through the other years. ahhhh at least theres good memories about what happened during school...

I am 14 and my parents bought me for my birthday the version of the ipod shuffle you still can buy to this day when it first was released in 2010 and it was in green (my favourite color) with my name ingraved on the back. And to this day i still have it i am actually holding it in my hand
I had all of the iPod Shuffles and all that I had all the Generations had it all lost of many of them I also had the iPod Classic that was black since but I had the old iPod shuffle from the 2000s I loved music back then Everytime I wait for my school bus outside getting up that early morning while it was still night turning into morning bumping music like this 2Pac mixtape I downloaded to my iTunes music with remixes and unreleased music it was tight Scared Straight 2Pac song was like that I was still living in Landover Hills apartments this was like 2008 I think I turned 17 years old all myself Deonte from going to Greenbelt Middle School after Judge S. Woods Elementary school not to be bothered or mess with loved my life it goes on and continues who cares headphones always on my ears loved my music.
I had all of them. My favorite was the 1st and 4th.

Just a small tip:
• I prefer talking over the first "animation/joke" then being silent
• Love the zoomed shot when you're putting the iPod over the head, but in the future don't cut it so quickly.
i wish there was a 4gb model. I used the 4th one for when I got headaches, because u can find an album without looking at it

Still have mines the iPod Shuffle, it would nice if they have a fade in tracks mix software like a DJ Mix.

i bought mine when bluetooth wasnt that widespread,and i still use it so i dont have to jog with a bulky smartphone,its neat and works well despite being 7 years old and having a malfunctioning play button,so i leave it on shuffle.

ipod shuffle 3rd gen was the best mp3 player i ever had ( despite poor apple software to put the music on it). The remote was easy, intuitive and worked well... since it broke and you couldnt buy working headphones anywhere around the world :F

I still have a green 2nd gen iPod shuffle, and a 1st gen iPod Touch. The shuffle is great for exercise, but I can't get any use out of that old Touch.
I actually just got a 6th gen iPod touch, and it's great for when I want to play games on the go, but don't want to lug around my 3DS or Nvidia Shield.

Am I the only one that liked the 1st Gen the best? It's simple. A thumb drive with music controls. Awesome! The 2nd and 3rd gens lost that simple "USB plug" construction and made "holding your files" so much more convoluted.
My opinions
Shuffle 1st gen: Great. It has a three position switch, and it's a USB drive
Shuffle 2nd gen: Great, it functions similarly to the 1st gen, but the three position switch has been separated into two switches, it's smaller, and it has a clip
Shuffle 3rd gen: I don't like it. It looks like they removed the buttons and moved them over to the left -earpod- earbud. It also introduced voice-over, which I like it (because I wanna know what's the name of that artist), but it's so confusing to me that Apple put a video on their website
iPod Shuffle 4th gen: This one I like it a lot. Not only because it looks like the 2nd gen, but is also because it has voice-over from the 3rd gen. Overall, great

I LOVE my iPod shuffle, I don't know what generation it is (I think the first) however I haven't used it in ages and it does not charge :( from looking at other CZcams videos it may need a new battery (even though it's been docked in the iHome radio for ages. Any suggestions for new battery or charging options? Thx.
I had the iPod touch 5 and it would not charge, I hated it because it had to be plugged in for it to stay on and when you unplug it, it would instantly turn off

The iPod shuffle was my first ever apple product and then it was so small that I lost it a week later.

The only thing that stops me from buying this is I need more than 2GB. Now if the ipod nano had a clip like the shuffle it would be perfect
