I would probably pick the confederacy too if I was American, which I am not. I am not for those terrorist protestors either.
The confederates were literally advocates of the enslavement and persecution of whole people-groups on the basis of their r@ce.
Even if the counter-protesters were "pro-terrorist," which they aren't, how are the pro-r@cial-slavery people any better?
I'm actually with the pro-Confederates, after an in-depth study of the historical and philosophical trends and context that preceded and followed the Confederacy
Before the War Between the States, the federal government was small and operated within constitutional boundaries. The majority of the government authority over everyday live lay with the states. One hundred fifty years after the Confederate States’ surrender, the Federal government is a behemoth of unconstitutional powers administered by unelected bureaucrats.
The USA of today would be unrecognizable to the Founders and far from what they intended. Of the Bill of Rights, none is more important than the 10th Amendment, nor any more abused.
