The music for this game sounds like the most unexpectedly amazing music you'd hear at 3am on the Weather Channel.
Honestly, his comparison to the Mana series is insanely accurate, especially the location themes. I would 100% believe this to be from an old Seiken Densetsu title or something, and I'm really impressed by the creators' work.

The Zero/ZX collection that came out a couple years ago have checkpoint save state things that will save your score and if you die before getting to the next one you don't get a score penalty for anything that happens. It really made the Zero games a lot more enjoyable by taking out a lot of the pressure the perfectionist nature of the game puts you under.

As a huge fan of the Megaman Zero games: it's mostly the first one that's hard. The Legacy Collection also adds a save point system that smooths over most of the excessive difficulty.

Yep, child safe, so nearly usless. You would get a tingle in your mouth and throat and mostly lose your sense of taste. That proved that it was supposed to be a numbing agent, it was just laughably weak. It was supposed to be cherry flavor.

I know it'll happen eventually just by process of elimination, but it irks me that the extra key in Ryha Beach or wherever wasn't used yet.
If you play the DS Mega Man Zero collection, I'm pretty sure there's a "story mode" or something that makes it easier to get through each game, for people who want to experience the story of the series without the impossible challenges (and without having to sink as much time into it, mainly).

Vicks Chloroseptic throat spray. It was a mild numbing agent, and it tried to taste like cherry, but taste receptors rely on nerves. Your throat would feel a bit better, but you largely lost your sense of taste.

I've been on a Megaman kick lately, thanks to the Battle Network Legacy Collection, so I'd be down to watch a Zero playthrough, just to see what that series is like.
On a related note, if you ever wanted to play a Battle Network game on this channel, you can skip the first and fourth games because they are ROUGH.

I'd be down for a Zero series. I played through the four GBA ones using savestates as a child, but I tried the first one legit a couple of months ago and it's -stupid- hard. I remember the later ones being easier, however. And they did have a conclusion, which is rare for a Capcom saga.

Collection version of the Zero games are quite nice. Makes the first one in particular, much less of a relentless ball-ache.
I think you could get through the Zero games, they are tough but I'm sure you can adapt pretty easily if you pick up on the combo system/weaknesses, I do think Mega Man Zero 1 is a bit tough in the beginning and gets easier and same with 2, 3 and especially 4 are very easy. I will say I'm bias though because I have done lots of runs of every Zero and X game

Only Zero game i've played starts off with a girl being chased by some soldiers, and she escapes into a junk yard, and in this junk yard she comes across zero's desecrated corpse, whom i think was missing limbs and strung up, i forget What causes it, but he becomes back to life and kills the soldiers.
If anyone knows which game this is, let me know, i didn't understand english back then so i had no idea what i was doing plotvise, all I recall is that i was enjoying it.
