Kendo tip! At level 9 the clap move is a good mobility move. Jumping from high building and clapping multiple times in the air lets you fly pretty far till you run out of claps
Good. Another tip is that you can combo the meele combo with a single throw of your Alpha skill in any level.
When you do this right you should impact 3 rocks
Other combo is by jumping, using your meele attack in mid air, continuing with 2 meele attacks on earth and finish it with your Y Skill
One more tip.....go to the character screen and click on explosion murder god dynamite

You only get 2 charges at max level, so null point
here are two intresting facts about kendo shield, if mt lady in her giant form tries to do her flying kick against it she will shrink to normal size (keep in mind you might get launched back if the shield is not strong enough to take it but you wont take damage). another is with the shield out you can get rid of dabi's fire traps and pikachu (i keep forgetting his name) eletric traps, just put the shield out and walk trhough it.
For characters that have low mobility when it comes to climbing why now use one Quick card? They give you the ability to run up walls
Cause it runs out quick and if you don’t have one you’re fucked
@@vivaraulito it only runs out quickly if you don't have it leveled up. I suggest getting it to level 2 or 3 if you can because blue cards more or less are easy to find around Landslide zone or mountain zone.
I'm mainly suggesting carrying blue cards on characters that don't have that much mobility and save it for if you really need to chase down that one kill

I do feel like people are heavy sleeping on her. She is strong for sure yet people treat her like she is awful just because she has no movement.
I understand movement is strong but not every character needs it to be good.
i love kendo and kirishima but movement is king in this game, the frog, deku and bakugo proves it.
@@Gang3rs king for sure. Just think a character shouldn’t be downplayed if they lack it persay. It’s a flaw but not enough to go as far as to say “she’s unplayable”

Fun fact Iida’s Beta Quirk goes through Kendo’s shield I was messing around in the pre game area and just completely ignored the shield and hit her
Also you can roll through Momo’s Shield if you time it properly but be careful cause she can turn quickly and catch you on the rebound
most melee abilties go through it
@@MrWashed_its so annoying. Youd think a tower shield like that would hard counter melee characters but its hella inconsistent which abilities ignore it.

Basic melee goes thru, and only like 3 other melee quirks go thru. Everything else that's a melee quirk like iidas alpha, urakas spin move and tsu tongue sweep all bounce off stunning them in place for a guaranteed clap directly afterwards.

Solo queued to Pro rank with a 21 wins(6 game streak too) out of 48 games with Iida.
Don't think people realize this character is top 5 material easily. No idea why they buffed him. I rarely see him used(assuming cause everyone wants a projectile in their kit) and it's wild. I can play for several hours and see only a handful of Iidas.
In the next month people gonna be calling for Iida nerfs when people catch on to how powerful he is.
A good Lida is super hard to beat and puts out insane damage. I can barely keep up and I play as froppy. I always target Lida and Baku go early game.

I've been a kendo main from the start and she's so good right now
This is on XBOX but I can't even play the game. They somehow broke matchmaking with maintenance and now it just tells me "Failed to join Team Battle." every time I queue up. When I did somehow get a match, it took ages for the lobby to fill and everyone was Izuku...
U need to exit the game if that massage pops up when u reenter it returns to normal if u don't exit the game it will keep counting up forever

Ok so i guess its my high ping that makes her not block some attacks. Cuz when use her shes doesn't block shigaraki or iida and sometimes basic melee attacks just go right through without stunning the enemy. I thought it was bugged but its working great for you.
Basic melee is the counter to the shield and Iida Beta quirk goes right thru. However running up to melee is the quickest way too get clapped by Kendo literally

@@jawanzasmith3463 yea im starting to notice that lol. Although its weird cuz sometimes basic melee gets blocked by the shield and sometimes it doesn't so i was really confused. And her misses easily. I think it has a delayed hit

Fun fact, I decided against getting kendo before her buff, I didn't know her shield would get a buff
The problem with cementos is that he doesn't do enough damage to accumulate enough rank points to rank up.
No, that’s a problem with the ranking system. Cementoss is fine.
I still prefer Compress when it comes to shields since he reflects damage
They buffed Kendo? Was is displayed in the patch notes? I wasn't even aware
I personally prefer getting her shield to 4 and THEN upgrade clap to 9, but shield 9 first definitely plays into Kendo's biggest strength. Having a slightly upgraded clap however can deal with the few characters that CAN break her shield, and heavily punish them for trying to do so against Kendo - not to mention a nice bit of short-range mobility to catch people unaware! Her alpha quirk can also come in handy after a melee combo to tack on extra damage at the cost of the enemy being able to recover instantly.
A little trick: On some occasions, if the enemy has an attack that can break your shield (Iida's Beta, Deku's Beta, Mt Lady's Gamma), angle your shield so that one border of it slightly extends towards the opponent. This has a much higher chance of blocking their attack while keeping your shield (and yourself!) intact.
Regardless, glad to see you giving attention to Kendo. She might be straight-forward, but in this game, this is sometimes all you need.
They removed the super armor on her beta quirk :(

Hey globku, I know you may not see this and you don’t have any direct communication with byking but I have a growing concern with this game in regards to new characters coming out.
So we know Aizawa is coming out in about two weeks if the leaks are correct. With the way the temporary tickets work in this game, and him being the only new character being added. People are going to be using him like crazy, regardless if they summoned for him or not. And because you can only have one character per team, in theory, games won’t be able to start because everyone will want to play the new character. I could be completely wrong or maybe they will remove the restriction on character limits temporarily so people can play him for the first few days. It makes me worried that the game maybe unplayable for a bit after a new character comes out.
With that being said, thank you for reading this and I hope I’m wrong.

That's just overanalyzing, if that had been the case then every character-based BR/MOBA/FPS would've suffered heavily every character update, but apparently people have brain and options so yea it's not gonna be that big of a deal
Level up your gamma to 4 so you get 2 claps then full on beta
I've looked at the patch notes like 3 times where do u see that they buffed kendo I'm curious she was my main from day 1
I was wondering the same but she’s clearly been buffed. Same with Dabi…yes they said they buff him but not his auto attacks yet they are clearly buffed on the range and/or tracking
@@sumbunniii8721 Dabi's autos got increased from like 1.2 to 2.0 dmg multiplier, so yeah Dabi hits way harder now

Ive bought 6 characters tickets with hero souls as a F2P just using premium daily rewards and premium license (all with the free shards that they are giving with the event missions) and have done like a 100 pulls in these 2 weeks

@@TheChampProductions try clicking "unlock" on a character, it should show that you have 1 ticket available so u can buy anyone u like. Everyone gets one for the official launch
If you play ranked they should update it to auto disable aim assist (ranked mode only).
Aim assist is litterally useless no tracking or headshot tracking
Play the game on pc, no aim assist available for anyone.
@@jonemillesterthere is no headshot in this game. Also, the tracking is so huge you can't move your cursor anywhere on console. The camera moves by his own

you say "the best" but like kendo is still at the bottom of the list. She can be fun but not good at all. They're not a buff because bakugo still just kills her and the dmg decrease isn't doing anything with the way bakugos, dekus, and todos are still dishing out. Those nerfs just mean you need to mash your buttons more. Kendo isn't buffed and she is not one of the best defensive characters.. shes at the bottom guys..
