  • In the second episode of this series of GCSE Sociology revision videos, I introduce the topic of the family by looking at familydiversity, key changes in families and global family trends, like China’s one child policy.
    The video is aimed at GCSE Sociology students but will also be useful as a recap to those studying at a higher level, particularly if you’re new to the subject. It’s 15 mins long. I hope it’s helpful for you!
    If you learn something from the video, be a pal and subscribe and share it! :-)

    Thanks, Sir🌹. I just have a question, those lone-parent families are formed from cohabitating families then what is the reason for increasing cohabitation?

    • @allsociology
      @allsociology  Před 2 lety +6

      There are many reasons for increased rates of cohabitation. Arguably, the decline of religion (secularisation) and people not seeing marriage as essential to their relationships is probably the biggest one. More people are also choosing to stay single as well and single person households are also rising. Hope this helps ✌️

    hi sir, how would you answer exam questions ?

    • @allsociology
      @allsociology  Před 3 lety +1

      Hey! It depends what type of exam question you are talking about. I give some advice on how to answer a few different types in video 6 (criticising the family), video 7 (educational theory) and video 10 (research methods) from this series. Hopefully that helps you a bit! ✌️

    Is this ok for AQA?

    • @allsociology

      Yes! Just ignore anything I say about exam questions though as AQA is marked differently ✌️

    Hello, What exam board is this?

    • @allsociology
      @allsociology  Před 3 měsíci

      They're designed for the Eduqas GCSE, but the content is applicable to any of the exam boards. If you're not doing Eduqas, just ignore anything I say about exam questions and techniques as your exam board may be different. Good luck with your revision and the exams!
