Fun fact: batman has a secret arsenal of fire arms but only has them so he can learn about them so he knows what he's up against and how to improve his armor to handle them. In the batman beyond series old batman goes on a mission and has a heart attack mid fight and when he's about to get beat to death reaches for a a gun to defend himself, he never fires but it was enough to scare of the thug buy that was enough for Bruce to give up being batman
