hope you have a brilliant time when your there. there's so much to do in puerto del carmen, if your looking for excursions dont book with your rep go to a place called last minute travel cause they are cheaper, the best excursion to do is probably the island tour where you go to timanfaya national park where the volcanos are, best 2 nights out are rancho texas and titti trollops music hall tavern which is a comedy drag show(very funny), if you want to know anything else just ask ok.:-)
when I stayed in Matagorda at Club Valena, I was at the end of the runway for 4 days with a bottle of Spar Cerveza (99cents), a Nikon d60, a grin and a happy girlfriend who just wanted to stay near the pool....
funny - everyone else says that if you have been there you have to go back - in my case its the 3rd time now its a annual event - I go in March to shake off a long winter in the UK. There is nowhere like it...
i've never found the wind to be that bad here, infact you might actually be grateful for a little wind cause it does get really quite hot here especially this time of year, lying on your sun lounger you think its too hot then you get a little wind that cools you down. I feel depressed now cause I miss this place, is it your first time going here.

Been in lanzarote 7 times and coming back in January, once you go to the canaries you don't want to go anywhere else.

i virtually live there with my camera - its one of the highlights!
you said it, i tend to go in january or february cause of the winter here. have you ever walked along to the airport at the bottom of the runway.:-)
