Minimum income annually to Live a quality life in the Philippines ($48,000.00 USD My Opinion)
I am a simple man . I let all of the images and videos I display take your mind and imagination to a prosperous place with an abundance mindset always
I've lived in the PH for 3 years, and my brother has lived here 8 years. I retired from the city at 53, and he retired from the military in his late 40s. In my experience, if you and your Filipina are spending more than $100 a day, you're wasting cash. But to each their own.
Every coin has two sides. Having lived in the PI for over 16 years, although up in the mountains, not the seaside. Built my dream house and living well spending a third or less than your figure. Keep it up so as to discourage newbies from moving here.
my wife and I retired here 9 years ago built our retirement home, so no mortgage. Just HOA dues. We live pretty damned comfortably for around $20,000 a year, US. Includes two household helpers, keeping up our car, and it gets a bit more expensive when we go to Manila for business or pleasure, etc. We also manage to travel overseas (mostly here in SEAsia) for beyond that amount--we like to visit Chiang Mai in Thailand for a few weeks each year. Our income is actually above $20k (closer to the figure you suggest in your video title) but we're fine at living on half that...less.

Hope to see many more videos on your channel.
$4000 a month on living expenses for the PH is a serious waste of cash. Sounds more like Bali to me. If you think thats what you need to live a quality life in the Philippines, then either you are in a very isolated bubble, or someone is ripping you off. Just some advice my friend.
He talking about being on vacation but using the term "living" incorrectly. Welcome to CZcams. Don't have to be a genius to press a record button.
I once lived with my girlfriend in Philippines on about 200 for the month. It wasn’t pretty but we survived 😂.
What are you talking about OP. Places such as Bali, Vietnam, and Thailand have a better infrastructure and standard of living and for a lower cost than the PH. Things have changed. You should actually go and travel and live in SE Asia.
Thanks for raising the standards for us.
I was in the Philippines a year ago...You cant spend $100 if you try its so cheap...Also one of the most beautiful countries in the world
48k a year is the minimum...for what? Beach front or surviving in the inner layouts of the land?
Every person's definition of quality of life is different. For example, I have everything I need in the PH, living on $2,000 per month, saving the other $5,000 in the bank.
That would be my monthly income 6000 thousand to 6500 per month. With approximately 500 hundred thousand in emergency funds . Poor in the states but ok in the Philippines.
@@dannyboy8644 A US monthly income in the states of 6500 is poor in the states? That is 78000 a year plus your 500000-emergency fund earning 5% interest (another 25000 per year) Not even close to poor in the states Not rich but living a nice live in the US if you do not have foolish dept
@@ericlee2931 Yes, that is a lower-middle class life in most places in the US.
@@wanderingdoc5075 I guess what you're not mentioning is that what you call being low middle class would apply to me (owning a home, new truck, luxury spending on NFL season tickets and other toys, retirement accounts,) I do that with 45000 per year.... I can and do travel the world with my smart savings. The guy that makes this CZcams video says 78000 is required minimum to live a nice life in PI???
I live in the NYC area . Rent alone is 3000 per month @@ericlee2931
It’s best to make 4K a month but you can live on 2k… I would not spend 4K a month.. if you want to live good and have money to adventure $2500 is a perfect number in my opinion
Agree, what this 4K a month? Dude says 4000 a month. Claims that's the minimum. I spend less than that here in states with a nearly paid off mortgage new truck, NFL season tickets. big savings account and a nice 4O1K I have zero dept (just a mortgage) and my annually 45000 income covers all my US bills while adding to my 4O1K and savings. If I do that here in the states, I can do that anywhere. Have this dude show his detailed budget breakdown.
I live in Cebu business park. My budget is $1500/mo. for basic living expenses, and $1500/mo. for various domestic and international travel.
I also put away more than $20,000/mo. into savings and investments.
PH isn't cheap like Bali or Vietnam.
I stayed at a high end resort in Maribago earlier this year and it was $170 USD / night. If you want absolute top end places and restaurants then its very easy to spend $4,000 / month. However, I also found some small friendly resorts for $40 / $50 night on the beach but they were basic setups and not in high end areas. For my lifestyle I could easily survive on about $2,000 to $2,500 / month. However, I also need about $20,000 to $30,000 startup costs to buy a small car, scooter and other necessities. One thing I do agree that its more expensive than a lot of these bloggers indicate unless you plan to just stay in a 1 bedroom tiny apartment and never do anything.
Nice place to stay for a few weeks or so. Surrounded by tourist. I prefer here in Bohol same view less foreigners. But to each his own. In El Nido This place is $6000 a week for an ocean villa. Or $320,000 a year. But it includes Breakfast.
@@YoLoBong-xs3to What place exactly are you referring to?
@@wanderingdoc5075 the resort he is staying at Pangulasian resort
Great view, but need more info
If want a USA quality lifestyle in PH you'll have to pay USA level prices.
What does the interiors of some of those beach fronts look like. I really liked the ones setting high off the ground on the 2nd row or so...
I could live on $200/month
Finally someone who is real $48,000 is right on the money. I have lived here for 10 years. I try to come in at $4,000 a month. travel is my main cost.
You live in PH. This guy is talking about being on vacation. He puts all his fun money into a couple of months a year.
dude you can live there with 2k dollar comfortably. rent a good apartment.
I agree with you, young brother. To live a good quality life in the Philippines and still be able to travel and stay at some nice resorts once in a while. You do need a good monthly income. But if you are a cheap Charley who wants to exist only in the Philippines on a small budget and wants to live, eat like the locals. That's not a good thing. Better off staying in your home country. Stay blessed
Thank for watching. I also agree with you uncle smooth. To many people want to try and live in another country on a 🍺 budget. No time for being a cheap Charlie. Learn to live with a prosperous and abundance mindset then you would know what true living is all about. Have a prosperous day and night
Why is it better to stay in your home country if you dont mind living like locals?
I'm living well on less than half that.
Well hell, I might as well stay in the states.
With this high end resort costing close to a $1000 USD a day...only a few would visit it that had money to burn. I have lived here in Palawan for over 12 years and never heard such nonsense . Living here is much less inexpensive than the numbers you are quoting. Visiting is one thing but living here is another. You can live a great life here on way less than you're so called "beer budget". Don't say things as fact that you no nothing about.
Everyone's living standards are different. Unfortunately if your on a beer 🍺 budget or a cheap Charlie you have no choice but to be a cheaper. I recommend if you don't have the funds go back to your country and be a dependent to your government. Don't come to the Philippines and be a looser. People who have an abundance mindset and have prospered in life live quality lives. Have a prosperous day I hope you learned a thing or two.
Quality life = how I like to live. Budget video are pretty silly. Bottom line is the more you have the more you'll spend. Duh.
"Living" a couple on months in a place is called a "vacation".
lol thats just living like a tourist no body moves here and lives in a dam resort
I still don't get why anyone would retire in the Philippines a third world country? Go to Hawaii, or France if you can afford it.
Because there is less crime here in the so called third world country then the over rated first world woke countries
Fuck France stay there and injoy the shit box
The people and their friendliness here.
@@YoLoBong-xs3to From experience, Japanese women are more friendlier. They will buy you gifts.
@@Paul-McB Love them also. I just have a lot of friends here, and only one there.
