I already knew this that's why I always unplug my roku tv. You have to know they're creating these things to get info! A couple of times my tv would have on the screen , where are you watching from. And1 the choices it gave me to check off, were a hotel or my bedroom!!!
I have a sharp tv that stops playing videos when I walk away from it. Not every time but sometimes. I looked on the box and went through the manual and nowhere does it say there is a camera. There is obviously a camera. I found it located on the power button. I covered it up with tape and the remote still works even with the sensor covered up. I assumed it was the sensor to read the remote but it is a camera...
Wow! A lot of TV's now have fiber optic cameras in them which they don't have to disclose to us but we're further research we can usually find out information.
I also recently found the cameras and mics on my tvs. I know that turning off these settings will not stop them. Also found my Amazon tablet has recordings from my past year of personal conversations that did not mention "Alexa or Amazon".. I'm honestly disturbed by the invasion allowed these days
@@stephanieforrester873 there is a way that you can go into Alexa and turn off a lot of different things such as recording I will be doing a video on that very soon.

@@debbipacker4215 I f your unit has a camera t that you know about that there would be a setting to turn it off however if it is secretly a camera on there and you don't know where it is then no. Usually your cell phones is the biggest thing to worry about and I will put black tape or some type of tape over the cameras because I'm sure they are looking if you have downloaded any apps.
Why have background music playing over your voice ? Is there a built in camera ?

Does this roku tv have a camera built inside?
No the TV's does not have hidden cameras. However you can't connect the webcam to your TV by using the USB ports. Of course you would need a certain app to make it run.
Bro but that doesn't even do the job. I disable mirroring cast and yet is still connected to my phone. That why disconnect from the internet and put a tape on the lighting blink lol
On your phone you have to turn off mirror cast permissions. Then it will not be available to cast.

No, the Internet provider has a secure feed. Roku has continued update to secure it as well. Once you turn off the things that track you then update are the only thing the TV can do.

Just because you select "off" on the remote doesn't mean they still aren't listening or tracking. Doing the things in this video are a false sense of security.
