This was very enlightening book historian. ? Are you familiar with the Origami Project? They publish free micro-chapbooks by folding an 11x 8 1/2 size sheet of copy sheet paper into a 6 page chapbook plus the cover design then they catalog it too, however it is a free publication although they do Award a 1st 2nd and 3rd place prize as well as 3 honorable mentions in their contests and this 6 chapbooks then get nominated for the Pushcart Prize Award.
Also the Newberry Book Award/Honoree is a very peculiar Prize Award for the simple fact that it's an American Award named after a European not to mention the fact that John Newberry was a Publisher and not an Author? Generally Book Awards are named after Authors not Publishers. However the Newberry Prize is traditional and should remain as is. I'd love to hear your thoughts on this :)
"Babes in the Woods" is fascinating - morbid topic, and yet, it was wildly popular in it's day.
I always wondered about the history of the word Chapbook, thanks for doing this video.
I love chapbooks. They are absolutely wild reads.
Great examples, such a nice snappy format, thank you!

What are your thoughts on possibly converting some of the still existing ancient Chapbooks into ebooks? Thank you.
Great video - Thank you!
Hell yeah pre copyright art!
Will you be doing a video on artists books?
That's a great suggestion, I'll add it to my list!
