My brother was a 25 weeker. He's blind in one of his eyes and had to do surgery for his heart. He's now 26 years old and living an amazing life and a normal one! :)
@Tiffany Ton It's terrible that happened to you, I can't imagine what it must be like to lose someone that close to you and that young. But demanding why has never solved anything..I've learned it's best to live in acceptance with loss and not in spite of it. Know you and your family be in all of our thoughts

My twin baby sons were 28 weekers. Today, they're about to turn 1 and can walk pretty much as long as you want them to as long as you hold one of their hands.

Thank you for posting such beautiful and inspiring vidwo. I am a father of baby daughter who was born in 25 weeks recently. She suffered from Necrotizin Enterocolotis (NEC). She had part of her instine removed but then she got serious blood infection. She got 10 day heavy antibiotic treatments. She was growing and getting better until she got cold in which the doctors could not give her medication to treat the common cold. She is now critically stable.What breaks my heart is that I sometimes cannot travel to see because I cannot avoid gas. She is in another city, almost 80 miles from my home town and hope we will overcome this difficult situation.

My daughter was born at 25 weeks weighting in at 1 pound 7.2 ounces, we spent 111 days in the NICU and now She is turning 1 on the 21st of September and she is doing amazing and a miracle in every way.
I was 8-10 weeks premature, just got my flu shot and am 10 years old!

How is she? Is she normal?
dominique de guzman she is physically normal and behind in school. But she picks up things slowly at own time. She can math like addition, subtraction now but at one point it seemed impossible. Thankfully no surgeries, or immunity issues. She is a strong child. Easily gets distracted, cannot focus too long and overwhelmed by crowds but slowly things are changing.

He might have cerebral palsy if he can't sit or crawl yet. Check in with a doctor and ask about CP.

Took my daughter 12 montha to sit upright. And she crawled at 14 months old. Preemies take time
