  • We are working on something massive! A full cost break down of the new office build is coming soon, but we don't want you guys to forget who we are, so here is a short production from one of our oldest videos (exclusively seen on Facebook). We built 17 hay wagons bolt by bolt. Carl was a hero in many ways

    Love the video. I was confused about why the new running gear didn't come with it's own hitch. Those welds were perfect--stack of dimes!!

      The original ones are very user friendly at all for whatever reason.

    Those wagons were built a little over three miles from my house.
    When I seen the load of big red I kept looking for that EZ Trail sticker. 🙂🙂🙂

    Great idea. Can I copy your design? The factory hitch is not user friendly. Eric

    How did the hitch hold up ? Where the body flexes a bit compared to the running gear, I am wondering if the welds cracked, or did you leave a bit of play in the bolt.

    • @FarmingInsider
      @FarmingInsider  Před 2 lety +2

      Yep they aren’t snug. There is some play. We have some wagons 8 or 9 years old now and the hitch is still in good shape. We do some outlandish things with them too. Hooking up to the back of the wagon to push them uphill into bank barns and what not

    • @FarmingInsider
      @FarmingInsider  Před 2 lety +2

      It’s pretty dang tricky. It’s a lot easier with a tractor than with a pick up truck
