- Orcish Farmer get your pig ready! 12-year-old James’s dreams come true as he finishes his Orcs deck. Meanwhile, Alex holds debates with the Khans themselves-and himselves-to pick one for his newest commander deck.
"What if my opponent casts Grizzly Fate with Threshold and then flashes back in the same turn for EIGHT BEARS!?" The foreshadowing of Graham's Bear Force One on Commander Knights though xD
Too bad Jimmy didn't play Surrak in that episode, he wouldn't have died to the bear force
Cam's Narset is still probably one of the best thing ever.
+Woodthorn I died
+Woodthorn I never expected this, but I welcome it.
i agree 😂
Woodthorn narset, enlightened cowboy
literally came back to this video trying to remember the idea and hoping that no one else caught on. Now realizing this is the top comment.
'And then you Grapeshot for 200' - Narset. Put that on a t-shirt yesterday.
+Sal La Volpe "So you cast Omniscience and Enter the infinite and then you cast your entire library twice with Past in flames and then YOU GRAPESHOT FOR 200"
+Sal La Volpe Why am I not running Narset?
+MrAgentIncognito Because you value your friendships?
+Sam Sparkman Funny, I've JUST built a creatureless Narset. It's still a work in progress so it doesn't quite have all the cards I need to grapeshot for 200, but it can take an endless number of turns, perfectly fix draws with brainstorm, senseis, dream cache and a nice little card called proteus staff, whilst also ticking up half a dozen free planeswalkers and also make tokens/a ridiculously beefy unblockable, pro-all colours un-sacrificable commander.
Will be testing it this weekend. After which I will probably have no more friends!
How did it go? Do you have a decklist?
ALL EVERY BEAR STRAIGHT PUNCHED
Surak be like
I not understand
Alex talking to his cards, and suddenly I don't feel alone in my absurdity.
help me, Bolas is forcing me to play him HELP!
progste Well, Liliana told me to run a modern 8 Rack deck, of course I listened.
Melakie Simrak Damn you think you got it bad? I'm playing Pox in Legacy!
Jax Friedman Did Liliana tell you to do it? Because she tried to tell me to do that first. Well, we compromised and now I run 8 rack.
Melakie Simrak Yeah I listened. Well, at least Hymn to Tourach is good...
5:45 I saw that subtle hand wave, Paul. You can't hide your force-using secrets any longer!
holy shit that's an amazing observation
Little did they know, that at 6:06 a prophecy was made, only to come true years later.
I know, I broke out laughing when I heard that.
Bear Force One has been born here
@@deathwishunicorn2895 Bear Force One is almost as old as Friday Nights
If you mean Graham's Goreclaw deck, Graham liking bears is a running Joke, he early on made an entire deck of 2/2's for 2. He talks about bears again in GOP bound, and in Core Value Kathleen says: Dont tell Graham But Goreclaws looks pretty sweet.
Theres a few rubbing jokes, this also established Cam's Running "Don't call me your friend!!!"
I love this episode. It might be my favorite. "Me punch all the bears."
Also, i love the one where Alex helps Paul build his white deck by suggesting he make it a blue black deck. "Why are you running all these plains in a blue black deck? That's a rookie mistake."
+Paul Gaither "All every bear - straight punched!"
Dark Tenka
I wanted some reference in Temple of the Lava Bears.
My favorite part about the surrak bear punching was last night I played a commander game using surrak, and as I swung I kept saying surrak punch bear
All every bear straight punched.
when he doesn't recognize 3/3s as a thing. he should have yelled 1.5 PUNCHED
"And then you Grapeshot for 200"
I'm fucking dying.
Well, I did once legally get grapeshotted 35 times on turn 5, along with two other players, who also got 35X grapeshotted too!
Graham could throw a Robe of Mirrors in that deck. Make himself a Djinn and Tunic.
@notme222: I hate you so much right now! Shut up and take my like.
Cam as Narset was fantastic! Graham's Surrek was great and needs to be on a T-shirt.
Double bear? Double punch!
Frank A All every bear straight punched
"Ah yes, Double Bear... Double Punched!!"
surrak only friends are bears, which means surrak punch all friends.
LeeVai666 Surrak tragic figure...
Just had a (commander) game where I played Surrak and one of the others started talking about how cool he thought the temur lore was with them being friends of bears and all that. So I literally took up my Surrak and pointed to him and said "DOES HE LOOK LIKE HE IS FRIENDS WITH THAT BEAR!?" to witch my friend replied "What bear..?" and I said "The one that he wears like a cape?" and he went "Oooh...". We all had a good laugh out of it :)
Daban
lore from the articles:
Surrak fought that bear when he was young, that's the "bear punching" scene, but he didn't kill it, just drove it away. Several years later, Surrak and other temur warriors got into a fight against some sultai necromancers that invaded their territory, they had almost been defeated by the zombie of their own warriors brought to life by the necromancers when the bear came in his aid and together they defeted the sultai, but the bear died after the battle from the poison on sultai blades.
After that Surrak was nominated as khan and the shamans made his cape and gauntlets for him to "become one with the bear, protector of the clan".

This card is the bear's revenge img.scryfall.com/cards/large/en/ust/118.jpg?1510947274
According to the Planeswalker's Guide, "Surrak rarely speaks to his people, but when he does, he is pragmatic and harsh."
So basically, you guys nailed it.
This episode may as well be called "here's what you SHOULD be running in your commander decks."
Noted, LRR. Saved for later brewing.
Ad what you shouldn’t run in vintage
Regirex don't maindeck 4 lost legacy in standard. It's good for approach but not much else.
Years later, this video is still amazing. Just saw the crew at a MagicCon, what great folks.
I'm a big fan of Narset, Enlightened Southerner
Surrak punch many bears.
Like, all the bears.
See that bear? Punched.
Me don’t think you understand Surrak here.
All every bear straight punched.
XD
LOL Cam's Narset voice
Grant Kluge funniest LRR moment thus far
Love graham's deck name at the end lmao
“What if my opponent play grizzly fate and flashes it back in the same turn for EIGHT BEARS”
A prophet
Where is that from? Can you give a link
mew the mew
Game knights modern horizons video
Love the voice for Narset.
+Sota Steelwing My friends and I now call her "Narset, Enlightened Southerner."
Casting your whole deck twice than grapeshotting for 200? Sounds like my kind of deck.
Sounds like everyone's kind of Deck. :P
Yes, and people like you are why I have to run Mindbreak Trap. To crush your dreams.
Cyrus Levy :(
BeholdTruthsSecretTV Or Purity. Because, if I flash that one out on ya...well, I'd just thank you for the 200 life you gave me.
Cyrus Levy Just Flusterstorm their Grapeshot, use their own Medicine against them... :P
Just another brilliant piece by Cam, bravo !
"cuz it's called brainstorm"
if you want Cam's Narset voice to be even funnier, read the sharkan/narset meetup story with that voice for all of her lines.
Cam's Narset part was the fucking best. I haven't laughed that hard in a long time. This was the funniest episode in a long time.
Hello from 2023 where Orcish bowmasters is running roughshot in legacy
Cam's Narset voice is the best thing I've heard in a long time. I congratulate you on giving me a mild stroke with your wacky hilarity. Good content as always! ^_^b
Alex predicted the grizzly fate!
Yuting L. I am disappointed command zone didn’t queue that in during the game video
I love how Graham is the only one who gets to be a Planeswalker
LoTR set gonna make 12 year old James really happy
Love this one. Between Alex talking to the cards, Surak and Djinn & Juice what more could we ask for?
Everyone was great in this. GREAT.
"I'm gonna list ways to filter your top deck that're legal in commander, and you stop me when you've had enough."
I love cam;s Narset voice
This episode was legitimately entertaining.
My Anafenza don't want none unless you got trades, hun.
Can we get a "All every bear straight punched." shirt???
So, is there going to be a commander game episode with all these khans? Cause I really can't wait for that episode.
also, Alex and Anafenza will probably make up or something.
Turns out... no.
I thought it would have been hilarious if the Orc tribal beat Vintage dredge.
Alex predicted how Graham’s bear force one deck would win him the game.
and then you grapeshot for 200 xD
Real men Wolfbriar Elemental for infinite Wol... Bear* Tokens. :3
Sheriff K Infinite punch
Can I get a list for Djinn and Djuice?
Ok so u want a juice box and a crystal ball
How Cam did the Narset voice is like comedy gold.
surrak is now friends with bears
Anyone here after Game Knights?
5:35 "I don't know what that means".
All the dredge players:
"You're in for an ass whopping"
That intro Graham Planeswalker card is BAH-ROH-KEN. Ultimate ability is straight over-powered.
"and why am I not running this list?!" Is brilliant!
All of the characters are getting better fleshed out. I can see each of their unique quirks and personalities here; which is good, because before this episode I thought the show was basically 5 Sheldons with a Magic: the Gathering coat of paint.
The main difference between Friday Nights and Big Bang Theory is that Friday Nights is actually funny.
Big Bang theory is a top rated comedy has run for 9 seasons and is top viewed every week on the other hand while Friday night is funny it relies on dry humour and the viewers ability to infer. Information
kalum H-day I think it's more of a matter of opinion, lol
The interesting thing is that in the next episode, Jeskai Mysteries, we see Alex playing a Surrak Commander deck against Kathleen.
"I thought we were friends." "Don't you call me that!"
Thomas Hyslop what're friends?
WOW!!! I am soooooo going to build that narset deck!!!
Every joke paid off. Many laughs were had.
LRR,you guys are the best.
I dare say that's a new winner for most awesome sentence. "All every Bear, straight punched"
Graham's Surrak needs t-shirts!
Oh, Alex, you always play Abzan (by the way, Cam forgot the easiest way to avoid milling creature spells: not playing any of them. Red-withe, I believe there are many ways to get an army of tokens on the table anyway).
Red-White-Blue. Not just soldiers, but goblins, warriors, and squid as well. Maybe play a few creatures just for a bit of scrying?
Tristan Mitchell
Just play some token making instants/sorceries + Zoetic Cavern + Proteus Staff. Stack your entire library and then attack with Narset. You're welcome.
Tristan Mitchell Prognostic sphinx and omenspeaker have to be in there at the very least.
Nah, you have plenty of instant, sorceries and enchantments doing their job to make it not worth it.
Cam is just perfect in so many of these. He makes me want to counter spells, and I hate counterspells.
6:28 "Surrak tragic figure..." xD
orcish oriflamme: I think my ability to play has dropped simply from knowing this card exists
The Surak-Alex discussion is probably the best scene EVER!
Here I am in 2022, with a deck for every khan color, but only one khan: Zurgo, in a deck full of group slug, board wipes, and indestructible creatures.
Narset, Enlightened Cowboy
This was a really good episode. Funny bits, good acting
Besides the suns and stars, theres never been a fire in space, Thanks Paul.(Mission: Accomplished ,,‘Without even trying' )
This is by far my favorite opening for a Friday Nights!
Finally a new "Friday Nights". I love this series...
All every bear straight punched
When someone helps you build a narset deck and ends up building it himself
That may have been the funniest one you folks have ever made. Great job.
God, the Surrak bit had me in stitches!
I would watch this show every day.
Rewatched this today. All I can say is Surrak kills me every time. 5:54
I died laughing at the Surrak bit. A+
5:55 for Surrak. _You're welcome._
"Surrak only friends are all bears, which means Surrak punch all friends, Surrak tragic figure"
There definitely needs to be a new episode like once a week. Love it lol
this episode is def in my top five favs..even tho it's hard to choose because they r all amazing lol
I wish I could kickstart a weekly Friday Nights show...
if "and then you cast grapeshot for 200" was on a t-shirt i would wear it everyday
Super funny, such value. Also, sweet braids Kathleen.
"I don't know what that means." "You'll find out."
Yeah, that's just about your typical dredge match. So grateful that that deck exists. So hilarious.
All every bear straight punched XD
Well, Surrak has me convinced. I liked his great-great-great-grandma Yasova, but he tickles my inner timmy.
they really need to make more of these videos lol i luv em
I am so gonna build a control deck with Narset now, I just realized that, but I am proably gonna mill myself to the ground, It was pretty sweet pulling her.
Probably my favorite episode yet...
"Orcish conscripts stop picking your nose we have company"
--James 2014
The Surrak part is so great.
Djinn & Juice made this sketch for me. Brilliant. :3
Lost it at the Narset voice. Omg so fucking funny.
I just realized. Graham does the Surrak voice, but Graham is never IN the room.
SURRAK TRAGIC FIGURE?! just waw.
Imma just say, a 0 creature Narset deck is the funnest thing I'v ever played.
6:08 ah, the foreshadowing.
Could you sent a link?
All that stuff about Surrak made me laugh out loud.
Somebody at my LGS actually runs that almost exact Narset build! They weren't too happy against my Nekusar deck. XD Though the next game I kinda decked myself by catching their attempt to draw their deck with a Notion Thief...
I laughed way too hard at "Djinn and Juice"
“I don’t think you’re grasping the concept of the orc deck.”
“To run bad cards?”
The pain of building under supported tribes.
I’m finally planning a Sultai Reanimator commander deck with Sidisi looks super fun
The bears part get me every time
