Who in the right mind would want to spend 45 minutes-1 hour or more on a train to commute each way to work on top of their already long 8-10 hour shifts? Seems like hell, akin to "a bunch of cattle being sent to the slaughter".

I guess, but if you live in the suburbs and work Downtown, this might be better than being in your car for a couple hours and dealing with the parking.

@@josephcipar3666 Horrid all around. ~3-4 hours of work each day not getting paid just to commute to and fro the shitty.

@@Guillotines_For_Globalists What you don't realize is many of these commuters have a job in the city that has a salary that more than makes up for the long commute and allows them to have a nice house in the suburbs. Many people use the commute time to catch up on work without being interrupted by the landline phone or meetings. Other people use this time productively to read newspapers, magazines and books. It's not horrid for them.

@@larrysbk I understand WHY they're doing it, I'm not an idiot. I just can't imagine dealing with that every single day for decades and feeling alright. When they catch up on work on the train does that count towards their daily shift?
