Wow, to sit there and laugh?? Ridiculous. This is a masterpiece. Today's movies are dumb.

I think that it was horrible that these two were laughing about this. I have seen many reactions to this movie and these are the only two that sat there and laughed about it. I mean, I get it when people laugh after screaming, but just sitting there laughing at some of these scenes is just weird.

I feel like your generation does not appreciate this film because you’ve been desensitized by all the crap movies that tried to steal from this and failed. I was 9 years old in 1973 and I assure you this film had people shook .
We are not disagreeing with you that 50 years ago this didnt have people messed up back in the day - apparently YOU (i will not blame your whole generation) do not understand that some people have different opinions, and if someone do not like it, you can respectfully disagree - but a 9 year old will view this differently than someone who is 30 fifty years later watching it for the first time.....
@@TheRealMovieManGregnot really. Most millennials and Gen Z who do reactions to this movie don’t really laugh through it. Even the ones who didn’t find it scary are usually just sort of neutral about it, and they will simply say they didn’t find it scary, which is just fine. However they typically have a sort of understanding and respect for the movie and the disturbing imagery. Not reacting like they’re watching Dumb & Dumber.

This isn’t most channels. Its literally …my channel😂.
1. I was 13 when I saw this in the theater with friends. What rating system they had at the time wasn't really followed that closely. By word of mouth, I was aware of the head spinning, vomiting and language but what freaked me the most were the demon flashes.😱
2. When the doctor is looking at Regan's skull x-ray and says, "Nothing in there" I always 🤣
3. The spider-walk down the stairs was NOT in the original release.
4. The loud banging with the medical equipment is for our benefit.
5. Father Merrin and the demon/Pazuzu had a previous encounter where he almost killed the father. Merin doesn't acknowledge the receipt of the note and tells Karras there's no need for analysis.
6. Chris MacNeil/Ellen Burstyn actually her coccyx was fractured when the demon makes her hard fall. Her painful look is real.
7. The demon doesn't kill Merrin. From the beginning we know he has a heart problem most likely brought on by the previous encounter.
8. Karras doesn't kill the demon. He does manage to draw it out of her and sacrificed himself for her.
9 Karras is confessing and asking for forgiveness for his loss of faith.😇
10 RIP William Friedkin.😇
I will admit the demon flashes were did freak me out and that part was brilliant

The big gal is subconsciously protecting herself from losing her mind watching this movie by making light of it! it might not happen right away but she will lose it over time by dwelling on the horror of this masterpiece.

This movie really isn't about the girl. It's about Father Karris, his grief over his mothers death and finding his faith again. Willing to die for it.
I always wondered if the demon killed the mom and that is how the demon had Jimmie's mom like Burt even though the homeless guy was never seen again.
The 70s were amazing, from the music to the movies and the awesome cars, we had back then. We were truly blessed to have lived them. There will never be another 70s...good thing? LOL! Thanks for the reaction! I had fun watching with you guys!!!

I'm 51 years old and I watched as teenager I did laugh. I tried to understand that at that time you didn't see nothing like this. To me I only think the make up job was great. Kudos to Mercedes McCambridge for the vocals of the demon
I was 10 when this movie first came out in 1973 to me it’s a masterpiece great as a film cuz its bout exorcism and the priest struggle with his faith and the only horror movie been nominated 10 Oscars included best picture really ahead of it’s time and the little girl Linda Blair was nominated for best actress
You should not bother watching movies that are above your intelligence level
This story is based on a book about a real case that occurred in 1949. I don't understand your laughter. I think it is disrespectful to a cinema masterpiece that has won several awards. Why don't you watch comedies?

I believe she didn’t like it because she didn’t pay close attention! Different setting and time and where your able to concentrate. I said the same thing about the NUN but after watching it again just to get understanding it is one of the scariest films! So bro your exactly right!

Just watch Terrifier 1 and 2, it’s probably more your type of movie. And I say this as someone who adores The Exorcist and Terrifier. You should probably get bad movies and do reactions on those because I bet you’d be good at it and it would actually be funny. Like find a bunch of 70’s and 80’s low budget horrors and have fun. There’s an audience for that. And I’m under the age of 40.
