Stretching before working out is quite detrimental, if you mean lifting weights that is. Matter fact just keep any pre-workout stretching dynamic, regardless of sport. Obviously there might be exceptions

Was in a dance crew that did stage performances at Anime conventions for a few years during the like "Rave" on Fridays/Saturdays and we all met through dance circles in the crowd at various conventions because we were all shufflers.
