Photographing DARTFORD WARBLERS in DEVON with the CANON 1dxmkii

- This was my first trip out with the camera since returning from Norway. I still have a video left to finish editing from that trip but I wanted to bring you some British wildlife this week.
The first time at this location was certainly not disappointing and I look forward returning soon, to try and capture some more images.

A lovely calming video :) The dartford warbler is a bird that I hope check off my 'seen' list at some point in the future. Can't beat early morning walks looking for wildlife!

lovely video really, enjoy it so much.
we get here the meneteries's warbler, curruca mystacea, it comes as Autumn and winter visitor. really very tiny birds and very fast moving but fun to watch. and when i am blessed and they come to my garden, i find them very friendly, but its difficult for them to come to the feeding tray as the weavers, sparrows and bulbul are much larger, so usually we agree on a certain secret spot i leave for them, crushed peanuts or cake crumbs which they adore.
i happens every year, but always break my heart when they leave by mid March.

Such a difficult bird to capture ! This is the best at this time of year. I normally go to Arne in Dorset ! What nature reserve is this one ? Great tranquil video 👍😍
They are and to be honest the images from this session are far from great 😂 I will be back in the coming days to try again. If the rain stops! This was up by Woodbury Common 👍

Any plans to photograph the brown hare or roedeer soon? I really enjoyed your videos when you photographed them in Devon last year.
Last week I got the Z6 (being my first full frame) and your videos get me even more excited to go out to the forest and photograph! Wildlife photography is a beautiful thing! 😊✌
