    Here's a confusion, if we have to rappel the wall in May-June, what do we do in October? I know the snow may not be there, but it'll be too much of a slope to simply walk down.

    Hi swati , can Buran trek be done in winters ?..... Cause I like snowy situations a lot .... In summers after which point of trek we're going to find fresh snow?

    • @Indiahikes
      @Indiahikes  Před 4 lety

      Hi Deepak, the trek closes down after October. The approach to the pass gets blocked by the end of October. so the pass will not be accessible after that. If you like snow, you could do a winter trek in Uttarakhand. You'll find winter treks here - indiahikes.com/seasons/winter

    Is there a facility to come back halfway through, if one finds it difficult to complete?

    • @Indiahikes
      @Indiahikes  Před 2 lety +1

      Meeting the Fitness requirements for every trek is very important. During a medical emergency or if the trekker is not able to trek further, they’ll be sent down along with one of our staff

      AMS can happen to anyone even if a person has done treks before. Be physically fit and you will truly enjoy trekking. Hampta Pass is a moderate trek, check out the detailed information to truly know if this trek is right for you: indiahikes.com/hampta-pass

    Can we go for this trek by ourself? If yes, then what we be the source of food there?

    • @Indiahikes
      @Indiahikes  Před 4 lety +1

      You'll have to take your own food on this trek. There are no villages / dhabas after the first day until the last day. So if you go on your own, you'll have to take your own tent, sleeping bag, food and in May / June, snow equipment too.

    • @Indiahikes
      @Indiahikes  Před rokem

      We don't take mules on this trek, since they cannot cross the pass. We usually work with porters, who are hard to find these days. But if you'd like to offload your backpack, you can. We recommend carrying it yourself, but if you have medical reasons or so, you can offload your backpack
