Only reason I can think of is that Flores is a competition surfer which is a real shame.

John john was so beast this event. I'm no expert but i feel like he should've used a wider board like this in the d-bah contest that just happened

Both these guys made the best of limited conditions. I'm rooting for John so Jordy doesn't get a chance to break another trophy (especially a world title), but I loved the passion from Jeremy Flores!
