@@maureenfurmedge1917 I agree Olly won't win as there are better entries this year but I'm pleased the UK's taken a risk though and not played it safe as we have done in recent years barring 2022 of course.
In terms of "Dizzy" being too raunchy for Eurovision especially with kids watching I get the concern of some people but do reply that one the contest is known for being risky and two there have been other songs in the past with similar kind of vibes to this such as Poland with the washer women and Ronela from Albania in 2022.
Parents have the option to turn the channel over or just not have children view the performance the two times it comes on whether they've already seen it themselves before or not if they don't want their kids to know what's on.
Whatever happens I wish Olly luck and hope we get on the left hand side of the board which would be better than no points at all.

I really love the song and I think the staging is fantastic but worry it may be just a little too much for the conservative nations and Mr Angry U.K. 😂 will be more interesting to see how many calls to Ofcom than points we get. 🤣 I hope Olly has an absolute blast, I’m really happy and proud to have him represent us whatever the outcome. 🇬🇧❤

I saw Olly on Russian site of CZcams and was chocking his outfit, after I saw video I understood you are very talented and I was crying when i was watching it. I will pray for you 🙏
I like the song. The performance wasn't good enough and the whole setting made it feel like they were stuck in a small cube and not part of the show. It didn't feel like a live performance.
It was brilliant - incredibly ambitious and beautifully complex. It was always going to divide audiences, but 'winning' isn't really the point here. Craft!
The song isn’t as bad as people are saying on here. I think a lot of people (mainly so called straight men) don’t like him because he’s gay. People need to move on with the times.

And then he has to deal with all those comments that his vocals are subpar (which they are) and that the song supposedly sounds mid (it's nice enough). Now it's the explicit staging that doesn't go down well with some viewers. And still 1% in the Polls ... How would you feel?

great voice and liked the song..the performance presentation was a massive, over the top, gay failure...and as a gay man myself I was so fed up with this type of presentation being presented for the gay vote...not all gay folks want to see the constant crass drivel...not refined at all and the song deserved that very much . Everyone else seemed focused on the apparent devil worhsip of Bambi Thug raher than this UK presentaiton being offensive. My opinion only of the presentation ad we did go but the song...

The BBC has just signed a new K-Pop-act to represent the UK next year. It consists of 6 Welsh Corgis, each with it's own, strong, personality (one is non-binair!). They are now being trained and groomed for their ESC-participance. It's remarkable how they all honk, bark and growl in sync, and on pitch, after just a week of training!
Olly gave us his all, sadly it kind of backfired. But the BBC will take no more risks! Next year it will al be pretty straight forward 'Going to the Dogs'!
