- The latest build from Michael Rybovich and Sons Persistence is another masterpiece from the first family in custom sportfishing boats. She is state-of-the-art in every way and as you step aboard you can’t help but notice the highest quality fit and finish found only on a Rybovich. The four-stateroom layout and quarter-sawn teak throughout can only be described as beautiful. Every cabinet, seam and joinery is as close to perfection as you can build. The Persistence is a meticulously hand-crafted fishing machine. As current Captain Tyler Andresen explains, “from the bilge to the helm, everything is done with the utmost attention to detail. Persistence is by far one of the nicest boats I’ve ever run. When it comes to operating her she maintains any set speed with zero deviation, regardless of the sea conditions. Short chop or a big nasty swell, you just push her bow down and you get that soft dig through the waves without any chine pounding whatsoever.”

Mike gave THE BEST walk thru I've ever seen of a boat. Shows his TRUE PRIDE and history of his product
I realize this is a old upload but I gotta say that I've never seen a Rybovich that wasn't absolutely stunning!! These boats are beautiful inside & out and I'm taking even in the places nobody ever sees or goes!! (bilges, crawl spaces, etc...) The craftsmanship, materials, and attention to detail is beyond impressive! The pride and spirit over at Rybovich to innovate & implement changes like when they improved the way tuna towers are mounted is second to none and it's why they are at the tippy top of a short list of boat builders!! Also how do you not love how down to earth and honest Michael R is, he speaks like regular everyday folks and seems very humble and that's refreshing, especially nowadays!!!
One sweet boat.Nice to have the builder show us around it.
Beautiful boat especially the living room & bedrooms . Lots of storage everywhere & including hiding spots for things lol .
This is how I’d prefer most boat video walkthroughs should be.
Arguably one of the best if not the best sport fishing builders in the industry. Had a family member that owned a 54’ and they said it was by far the best sport fish they’ve ever owned. It was a show stopper everywhere it went.
An incredible work of art that doubles as a mean sea monster. Form, function and unbridled luxury in one amazing package. It doesn’t get much better than this.
Beautiful boat coming from someone who does finish work for a living. Absolutely beautiful
Absolutely amazing boat we see here. Nobody builds them like this, only Rybovich.. Aa beautiful vessel in every sense of the word. Well done, everyone.
Very impressive. Nothing beats a Rybovich in my opinion. I agree with Spider...nice to have the builder show us that beauty!
Each time i go by your location in Palm Beach i slow down to look at all your works of art, Thanks for keeping the boating community alive with your classic work.
My bench was directly in front of Mike's at ryco. Mike is the most awesome guy to work next to! Hi Kevin
I see this boat all the time during the summer months and it is stunning.
Outstanding craftsmanship. Very original ideas, beautiful boat. Congrats to the builders and the owner!
47 Knots, yeah baby! Nice work.
Fantastic boat, the details on the helm and tower were really impressive.
Man what a boat!
Damn !!! Best yachts in the world !!!
A true "LIVING LEGEND"
Worked for Rybovich in1977 1978. John the owner and founder was there every day. I sold the Ocean Masters boat they owned. The family was great with me..paid for my son being born
Wow. Beautiful great craftsmanship! Congratulations.
Really well thought out boat. Thanks for the walk through
Simply a dream
That was awesome
Worked on Entemans 45 ft boat ET a bit back in 93 or 4 and you really cant believe the care and pride the workers put into these boats. until you look at one.
Did Bill Enteman also have a Merritt 58' in that period also.
@@spiderdavis3296 not sure on that one . but I seem to remember one in the yard at some point around then.
Just a joy to see top smart craftsmanship the old USA way . And I’ve always stopped and pointed out to my noobs on board hey thats a Rybo check her out
What a great video.
So informative thank you very much
Just Sold Me on a Rybovich Absolutely Be a uti ful , even though Merritt in my back yard lol Great Boat Thanks
It's a Rybo. What else is there to say.Man spent his entire life building boats!!!
Very nice
Thanks
Excellent!!!!
I used to drive past the Rybovich marina and just dream.
I agree Spider and Lane, but take a look at Bayliss, incredible boats as well. The look, build, Quality is at the top.
I wish had the money for this boat, but sadly I don't. Come on Power Ball!
I just passed them at their slip today!
What about the crews quarters?
They build beautiful custom sportfishers. I have never rode in one of his boats but in the custom boat community they have a nickname called a pompano pounder because they give up a good ride for speed. A 78ft boat that can run like this one is going to give up a smoother ride in rough seas. The custom boats built in the Carolinas are able to cut through rough seas better versus this boat being built in south Florida. But I absolutely love the beauty of these boats
The Carolina boats are no slouches in the speed department. The 70' Jarrett Bay Ravaganza had a pair of MTU V 16 engines rated at over 2500 h p each.It ran 50 mph plus.
@@spiderdavis3296 you are right these new boats can haul ass
I was talking to a custom Carolina SF builder of boats in the 60' range and he said while there used to be a bigger difference in Carolina boats vs Florida boats with all the hulls being designed by Naval Arch's today the differences have diminished .
Too good for Amazons's CEO... Beyond his worth.
worth it to keep the craftsmen going and getting rewarded with an amazing accomplishment though
Gorgeous! But I never saw a Livewell!
He spoke about it they are removable they are centered in the cockpit go back and look they were not present but he showed where they go right next to the fighting chair or center station so you can add live bait to your lines and not have to run back to the transom to grab them they are centered on the cockpit so you can add them where you are working on the lines.
I saw a donzi like this I though it was a turn off seemed like a quick fix but now I see it is ease of use when baiting hooks from the center rod holder
It is on deck live well adjacent to the rocket launchers it’s a removable bait system
He’s wearing socks; that’s reverence for his work and his customer.
78 foot master piece that goes 60mph. Legendary. Or buy 2 vikings for the same money.
It’s almost hard to think you’d build something so beautiful to land tuna fish. All the blood and guts of fishing just doesn’t match the beauty in my mind.
Não me convece, pobreeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee
Just Sold Me on a Rybovich Absolutely Be a uti ful , even though Merritt in my back yard lol Great Boat Thanks
