Clearly, MISA inspires a heck of a lot of bassists.
I'm definitely not qualified to argue for _anyone_ as "best." What IS clear to me, though, is MISA takes Kanami's basic patterns and melds them into some truly inspiring lines that to my ear, add a unique layer of energy and movement into each song. Something special (and certainly not your standard track the root fare). Imho, it's a critical component of the overall band sound and a _big_ part of their energy.
I certainly can't think of anyone else who could make this band better than MISA does.

The musical part of BM started out with the "Trinity" of Tōno, Hirose, and Misa. So she has been there from the start, an integral part of the band.

In the USA, in 2014, total new guitar sales were 1.10 million units. If we assume a ratio of 4:1 for guitars, to basses, then 275 thousand basses were sold.
You claim Misa inspires many. How many of the 275 thousand were inspired by her?
How many in Japan do you suppose she has inspired?
It is fine to have preferences including preferences for music. I like Band-Maid and prefer them over many other bands.
But these days, people engage in such crazed hyperbole over everything under the sun. If someone has a different view, that one is a "Nazi." If someone likes a bassist, that one is "the best ever."
What is the motivation of the original poster?
Misa is not even the best female rock bassist in Japan. Certainly she is not the female best bassist in Japan or the best bassist of either sex.
Apparently the original poster has never heard Juna Serita play.

There are many stellar bassists in Japan alone playing right now. Hisayuki Motoishi comes to mind. Serina from TRiDENT comes to mind.

Don't see how I was suggesting MISA's job was under any sort of threat. -To clarify, MISA is not just the bass player in BAND-MAID, her skill-set and style are a huge part of their unique sound and I couldn't imagine anyone else who could 'fit' the band better.
Hmm... Not sure how I am to know how many players or people in general (as a percentage) MISA inspires across the planet?
What I can do, is look for evidence.
Eg., take a quick peek at how many 'covers' there are of a particular bassists work, or reactions, or perhaps, how many followers they may attract or even mentions there may be from a google search...
To use your own (excellent👍) example as a comparison:

I'd imagine if you could apply a full range of metrics to every last player, you'd find it difficult (if not impossible) to define who IS the very "best" bassist on the planet, because afaik, no one person is best at everything. Surely, feel, technique, style, experience, innovation, inspiration/influence. and perhaps even choice of tools would all need to be taken into account. I.e., It all depends on how one defines 'best.'
I'm well aware of many excellent players, and by definition, hyperbole is _not_ meant to be taken as hard fact. There exists many 'Best Mom' mugs...
Motivation of the original poster? Guessing he posted a birthday greeting to MISA because he is impressed by her (and possibly a little enamoured ;-).
I thought "Best Bass player in the World" to be an awesome _birthday_ message.
