ROAD TRIP TO SHIVAMOGGA PART 3

On 13-04-2022 after visiting Belur we headed towards Halebeedu. Halebeedu is a town located in Hassan District, Karnataka, India. Historically known as Dorasamudra or Dwarasamudra, Halebeedu became the regal capital of the Hoysala Empire in the 11th century CE. It is the home for two forms of shiva one masculine “Hoysaleshwara“ and the second is feminine “Shantaleshwara“ also named after the king Hoysala and quine Shantala. The temple was beautiful with great stone carvings. After that, we headed towards Shivamogga. on the way, we stopped at Sri Vinayaka cafe Kadur for lunch. The place was a bit crowded, but the food was good. around 6:30 pm we reached our destination.
