- This video shows the Top 20 countries by total monkeypox infections from beginning May to the end of July 2022. Monkeypox is a viral zoonosis (a virus transmitted to humans from animals) with symptoms similar to those seen in the past in smallpox patients, although it is clinically less severe. With the eradication of smallpox in 1980 and subsequent cessation of smallpox vaccination, monkeypox has emerged as the most important orthopoxvirus for public health. Monkeypox primarily occurs in central and west Africa, often in proximity to tropical rainforests, and has been increasingly appearing in urban areas. Animal hosts include a range of rodents and non-human primates.

It just doesn’t have a day by day thing and there’s no way it’s close to accurate in most places because it’s government reported numbers, and people actually have to get tested.
the thing about covid numbers nowadays is most places stopped accurately reporting after around March when the first Omicron wave subsided and the news broke that we were all probably going to get the disease at some point anyway and that Omicron was less lethal.
The new news about how horrible long covid will be for the workforce and hospitals is really bad though. And the fact that omicron reinfects a ton.

We don't have the most Covid cases. We tested more people than every country, including all of Africa. If you look at the count you can tell a few countries (mainly India) have people that wont get tested because they don't trust or like doctors, don't have tests or government doesn't report right. If you look at the top like 5 European countries and them, you can tell it either has a comma at the wrong spot or it needs to get multiplied by about 5. Even if they are doing better than most countries, it has too much of an outlier to be accurate. Averages 1/10 of the cases per population of France, Germany, Italy and the UK. We can tell Brazil is amping of testing,

The reason why developed countries are higher is probably because they are testing the most and have developed healthcare systems to detect it. I believe in developing countries the outbreak would be even worse.
You are a stupid idiot. Monkeypox has very obvious symptoms which does not need test to comfirm it. Any country has monkeypox patients can correctly report their domestic cases without any problem. Your assumption is purely ignorant crap nonsense, furthermore the testing of monkeypox virus isn't very high tech anyway, all countries in the world have the ability to test them.
The more active the LGBT-scene is, the more monkeypox. Usually the developing countries are rather anti-LGBT. Either happens in secret, or not at all.
Monkeypox shows the same distinct symptoms for every infected case. The rashes and lesions last for more than 2 weeks. It's not like COVID where most people are either mildly infected or asymptomatic and they need to be tested in order to confirm whether they are infected.

I don't know what to believe from India anymore because with Covid about 1/3 of comments say the numbers they report are accurate, and 2/3 say its way worse. It being around the same as Germany France and the UK, despite having 10 times the population says it's worse. I don't think you are doing better then all of Europe, and North America.
