Ashanty Sholay is a truth sayer. I am from Isale-eko and i can confirm that the story about the disruption of Obesere's "Omojuomolo" title is very true. I know Ibile boys very well, i walk past their base where they sit every day, it's not far from Hammed Gerigeris shop. I have sat with them and know many of them well. I remember very well, i was at Iga Oba that day with my friends hoping to witness such a historic event, and i saw the entire episode play out when Obesere was embarrassed. Another person that supported Obesere for that title was Gbenga Adewusi and this guy that ran "Corporate pictures". Wasiu is such a "dark" human being but i can't help but enjoy his music especially the oldies. I used to dream of inviting him to play at my function, not anymore.
